I listened to your video and it worked!!! I am now officially an Elementary AP!! The personal touch at the beginning went so well!! Thank you, thank you!!
Martha Congratulations!!!! I am so excited for you. I am so glad that the channel and content was helpful to you.
I believe this is the door to landing my first AP job after 15 yearz as a teacher.
That’s great to hear! I am excited for you. Please keep us posted on your progress. 😊
This was exactly what I needed to hear the night before my interview! Thank you!
Awesome!! Glad it was helpful. I hope the interview went well!
I got the AP position!! Found out yesterday!!
I shared how I am a product of immigrant parents that has had to translate for my parents ever since I can talk…I translated for my own parent conferences and for my brothers IEPs which lead me to education…, there is so much more to it…but gave hook and it worked!!! 😊
@@girltwin22 CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!! SO happy for you. Let me know how I can continue to support you.
@@girltwin22 What a powerful personal story! So glad you shared that. The panel needed to hear your story. Kudos to you for sharing.
Excellent advice!! I have already begun to send out my resume for assistant principal positions for the 24-25 school year. I will be using this in my interviews.

@@gordonamerson28 Thank you so very much!! 🙏🏾
@@soloed1988 My pleasure.
Dr amerson, how do I leverage my ability to build relationships with students and staff in an interview? I feel like some people roll their eyes when they hear that because it’s a little bit of a cliche, but I truly feel like that is one of my strongest suits.
My honest opinion is that you lean into your ability to develop rapport and relationships. If you are with an interview panel that doesn’t value that…it is likely an organization you wouldn’t want to work in. Our natural gifts and talents are what we need to invest more time and energy into. If that’s relationship building for you…show and do more of that!! 😊
