Ladgerda, first wife of rgnar Lodbrog, participated in many battles and, according to Saxo Gramaticus, "All marvelled at her matchless deeds". Freydís Eiríksdóttir took part in the expedition to Vinland (America) and led a counterattack against hostile Indians. Just to mention a few I remember. All described in song and poem. ;o)

hmm,except that they rather know each other, and fights as whole "brotherhoods" (reenacting groups), also the design of the shields is often somehow common to the particular groups, especially when they're from different countries. I wonder though, whether are there much mistakes on battlefield, while the dose of adrenaline is too high ;) BTW:historically the legendary viking "Berserks" probably were even killed by own men,in case they couldn't be normally stopped in bloodthirsty fight-trance(?)

Basketball is dominated only by one or two tribes ,and there are racist laws that the basketball team must be at least 70% black. Celtics had some problems I recall. USA is a laboratory ,we speak not about some mixed land with no history and sick racist laws but about normal civilised world. And I'm sure that from 10 best MMA fighters in USA most of them is White.
Bottom line is that You talk about Your wishes and not the reality. If there are going to be laws that all judges should be black it doesn't mean that black's are better judges. Btw. USA is the only "White" country where black's are so over represented in basketball. Football in other countries is called rugby ,but its much more brutal (there are no armours and helmets) and even where black's are big community those sports are clearly White. Basketball too.

Tradycja i ustne przekazy nic nie mówią o żadnych wikingach. Najwyraźniej historii uczysz się z filmu Jerzego Hoffmana, a to źródło znaczy tyle co wyssanie z palucha, nawet Kraszewski nic otym nie pisał, ale Hoffman podmienił niemców na wikingów aby nie drażnić panów Niemców.
