Sometime over the past couple of days, Ren met with RUclips’s Global Head of Music and, guess what, the Sick Boi video is now back up (at least for the time being) because RUclips has finally realized that the copyright strike was submitted under false pretenses.
Ren posted this to his fans. RUclips have stepped in, and saw that the sick boi music video was copyright striked under false pretences. Until this situation is legally tied up, it is now available for everyone to watch! It is likely the video will be eventually be taken down and re uploaded with the new audio unless me and the responsible parties can reach an amicable positive solution. Mini victory today!!! Also, as far as the beat goes, Ren used the stems of the beat he bought and arranged it himself, added the guitar and some other sounds and layers so really the beat Ren bought was just building blocks. If Ren hadn't been in treatment at the time I don't think he would've bought a beat cuz he would've had more time to make a beat from scratch. Also, just from watching Ren on IG they filmed this video the first week of August so he'd been holding on to it for a month trying to wait to see if it would get resolved before he finally dropped this song.
Ren is awesome. He's honest and have a good heart but you can only take so much from someone. Ren is great. If I was good at music I'd work with Ren any day.
