Let me be honest, from this time 4:20 onwards everything looks rocket science to me !! I rewind and rewind still cant get till i slow down to the slowest time...finally i managed to make this bat... Why yours looks like a butterfly ??

@@Super_Natural_Power I’ll tell you that tomorrow. Mostly cuz I didn’t make it yet although I did make a different type of butterfly from someone else’s video and it turned out great.

I only just got back into origami, and I'm into butterflies in particular right now. So far, this has been my favorite. It was a little tricky right when the wings started differentiating due to an early fold going asymmetrical, but once I figured out the problem it all went together easily. My first model was out of regular white computer paper, but my next go will be with colored paper: thanks a lot for sharing this!
It took my three hours to make one and I literally had to go back every ten seconds because I’m fricking stupid and had to make sure I was doing it right but it was worth it😤

Eh don't worry mate - I spent almost 4 hours here and that majority of that was trying to figure out what the fuck was going on with the bottom wings lmao - still have no idea!!

This is the best origami video I've ever seen not only do you tell us what size the paper must be, but you also draw the lines so we can see better. It's hard for me to do any origami because I never knew what size the paper must be.
You can do it really with any square piece of paper
U can use any size of paper it just needs to be the same shape and have equivalent measurements

This butterfly origami was really easy to make! Just a bit difficulty with the folding. The playback speed was just perfect for me to fold. I did not have to press the pause button

You have to make it once and after that it really becomes easy!! It took me about half an hour for the first one and after that maybe 7-10 minutes for every one

Speed of the video was perfect. I watched the whole video twice, then made a pretty good butterfly on my first try. I did add a few small “mountain” folds on the sharp corners of all four wings, to give the wings a little more of a rounded shape, and I pinched the top wings without folding them, just because. This is the easiest model for a swallowtail butterfly I’ve found. I could never do one before. Thanks for the video!

This looks lovely on screen with proper paper I practiced with typing paper (mistake) too stiff, but agree with previous comment I was rewinding over and over, took me all evening plus a morning to finish it. Its sort of ok but its definitely not as easy as it looks. More practice I suppose and definitely need proper colour paper. Mine looks a bit like a white moth.
This is one of my favorite origami designs of all time. I feel in love with it years ago from a different video I watched, and did it so much I had the steps memorized lol. I just recently got back into origami after a few years of not doing it, and I'm so glad I refound this design.
Gets complicated toward the end, would like to see things sometimes obscured by fingers, but got pretty far. "Easy" is debatable, but I probably wouldn't have clicked on this if it have said "toward the end you will feel this tension in your temples. You will not die from it, but it comes from the tension of wondering why you didn't start trying this half your life ago when you were more coordinated and not facing the spectre of death" I made some sort of thing, though, and I appreciate your effort, especially the drawing of the lines, helped stay orientated for the first part. Thanks!

my paper was hard just tore from magazine and it turned out amazing and I also added it's 2 proboscis just by cutting thin paper

honestly it is very very easy because i am a pro in origami
It was so difficult! I struggled so much I had to go back 20 seconds every 5 seconds of new instructions I watched. And it still occurs to me that u literally said in the title "Cute & Easy". I was most of the way there but couldn't figure it out!! Sorry for leaving on a bad note but it looks great in the video.
Try slowing down the video speed, it makes it easier to see where they are making the creases, should help a little.

i did it myself at first try and it worked!! hahahaha. but still, yours look more beautiful. maybe becoz of the origame paper that u have. and i only did it once with my brown origami paper hehe. thanks for the tutorial! i'm gonna make it some more then glue it to my wall. mix with the other origami butterfly. it'll look great i think! once again, thank you! 😀
