INGREDIENTS:
Salt, for marinade
1/2 kilo pork belly
1/2 kilo chicken pieces
Cooking oil
1 whole garlic, crushed
2 pieces onions, chopped
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1-2 tablespoons brown sugar
5 pieces laurel leaves
1 teaspoon whole peppercorns
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/2 cup water

nagtry ako magluto ng paksiw on 2 occasions at niluto ko differently. one is hinalu ko yung suka while cooking and another is pinabayaan ko lang until maluto. Surprisingly, iba impact ng di ginalaw. hindi ganun katapang ang suka, unlike sa hinalo at mas ok ang lasa

I find your cooking so straightforward, clear and informative. Simply the best youtube Pinoy cooking. May I ask this on cooking adobo. Is there value in marinaring the meats overnight. Iro kasi ang kinagisnan kong lutong bahay.
Its best to marinate overnight, even w just salt does a great job at improving flavor and keeping meats juicy after cooking

This is how we cook our adobo minus the sugar. From Cabanatuan City - we don’t put sugar in our adobo.

Thank you, Chef! Saktong-sakto ang measurements nyo. Minor changes: ginamit ko yung Indonesian sweet soy sauce 1/4 cup + regular soy sauce 1/4 cup, para di na ako maglalagay ng sugar. Tapos split chicken wings kasi mahilig ako sa wings, hehe. This is the best chicken and pork adobo recipe and tutorial!👍🏼
gaanu ba karami ang salt for marinade?
@@raffermorano3236 asinan mo lng yung 1/2 kg na pork ng 1 tbsp rock salt and 1 tbsp din sa 1/2 kg na manok, tapos i-marinate mo lang sya ng nga 1 hr bago simulan mo yung pagluto ng adobo
