Is there a new version of diaphragm for the G2? I received an entire G2 replacement today from our supplier and when I installed it, I noticed that the diaphragm assembly generally looked the same with the same green flow regulator but it had a white plastic insert bypass hole in the rubber and no filter rings, as opposed to the one shown in the video above with the two filter rings and no visible bypass hole (both had the same flow regulators and flow rings). When looking at replacement parts, I can only find the one with the filter rings on the Sloan site. Just wondering which one is newer.

Sorry we missed your question, Alex! They are both still current versions, the difference being that the version shown here is for higher gallon rates and it utilizes dual filtered bypass. Dual filtered bypass diaphragms are the higher quality diaphragms. The one that you used is likely either for a lower gallon rate, which do not have the filter rings or it is the lower quality vortex version (which we do not carry).

These things are torture to work on. The manual flush ones work much more consistently
