- In this video I talk about 3 use cases for color checkers. These are wonderful tools for both photography and video. I love using these on location shoots when I'm not sure what the lighting situation will be like. They're also invaluable when it comes to making LUTs, or look-up-tables. And you can even use them to help match multiple cameras, even ones from different manufacturers like I'll demonstrate in this video.

What about using the colorcheckr to create a lut, or a monitoring lut, but the monitoring lut is a little too dark? Should I set aperture lower when creating lut from a color header to match two cameras?
I am having trouble with pro cam 8 (iPhone X) - color card checker and 3d lut creator. The lut on app does not match or way over saturated.

Looks like a solution to go from sony slog 3 s-gamut3.cine to a REC2020 or REC2100 HDR10 Profile or am I wrong. Some of the Sony Camera with App Store Feature are not able to use HLG. So this is might a nice Work Around.
