lifting your arms is an old wives tale. the cord is not attached to your elbows, lift them as much as you want. your body is made to create life and fairly sturdy when it comes to moving with a baby inside. congrats on your growing family!

Oh boy. I always describe the first trimester as an out of body experience because of how tired I would be I wouldn't even feel like I was in my body, or I always felt like everything was in slow motion like a dream.. weird. Congrats though girl!

Girl that whole thing about putting your hands above your head is 100% myth. I'm a nurse. You can do what you want, but you can't cause the cord to wrap around the neck by reaching up....
Good to know! I was just told that it could happen by my aunt. She lost her baby around 5 months and they told her it was because she had been painting above her head for a week before, causing the umbilical cord to wrap. Thanks for letting me know!

Thank you. I waited because my RUclips audience is not owed any information about my personal life and I wanted to make sure I didn't have any issues with the pregnancy. Many women wait even longer than 9 weeks to announce it because it's very common to miscarry until 12 weeks, when the risk drops significantly. This is my first pregnancy and I wanted to be careful.
