Came across your channel when I was looking for opinions on thermal scopes. Seen this video on traps. I'm running MB 550 and the No Bs traps as well. Totally agree you can't beat them No BS traps. No BS traps with that coating is all I will buy from now on. Like the videos.
Those are the only two brands of traps I run along with a few bridger dogless #2s which I'm slowly trading and selling off to get more JRs and 550s both 2 coiled offset the JRs I had laminated. I believe the JRs are indestructible only a couple bent dogs and spring pins on the 550s. I do think the 550 is the quicker trap of the two. Both traps new out the box in the ground no problems, powerwash, boil, 550 dye and wax sometimes painted. JRs wax only so far after 3 year use. Peace.
@@huntready1435 looks like the no bs k9 jr. I like the size, dogless, PRE-treated, hand made in USA and the rugged design. I think it’s gonna be hard to beat this trap!
Great video appreciate the time and information I'm using mb 550s only my second season probably easier for me for weight carrying them In I might get a couple of the no bs at the pa trapper convention if I see them just to try them out thanks again all the best
Very good video just found your channel trying to keep the coyotes out my sheep so researching new traps other then duke Made in china that doesn't hold up..
The pull outs could be attributed to wax on the jaws. Some guys use a cake pan and submerge just above the pan!! It’s not a bad way to wax. Doesn’t take that much more time.
Did you have to do any work to yours? I bought a dozen and the pan tension was really high. it was maxing my Sullivan tester out. About 10 seconds of filing and i solved the problem. just curious if you had to do the same.
@@huntready1435 i tried the bow string wax first then used full metal jacket and they were still above 5 pounds. Still my favorite trap i own. Ive never had a trap right out of the box i could use. These were the closest
Great Video !!
A Ton of Knowledge crammed into a short spot. THANKS !!
Glad it was helpful!
I've used MB750's for years the NO BS has been hooked. Keep the NO BS videos coming. I subscribed for more videos on it.
That No BS is a Nice trap It’s a beast. Almost to the point of over kill. That trap would hold wolves !!

Thanks man! That coating is like the icing on a cake.
The dogless traps are the most underrated traps. There are so many advantages to the dogless!! I could make a list!!
What are the advantages??? I've been wanting to try some but don't really see where they are better.

Great video buddy! Im using the Duke 550s & Duke square jaw 4 coil offset which are a little cheeper but very good traps!
I just bought 2 NO BS beaver traps. I got a 1.5 NO BS and it's super strong and a tank of a trap.
Great video! Very informative! New subscriber for sure.
Nice comparison and cool channel 👍 good info helping me decide which new traps to run
Which ones are you going to go with?!

I'd have to agree with ya! There isn't a better on the market in my opinion

Have you seen the alpha traps? #3’s It’s like a dogless MB!! Or a cast jaw Bridger dogless #3
Yup I have a couple. I prefer th he no bs to them though

No, just waxing dropped them to 3.5.

The thing that sucks on the no bs is they are thick ! You need to dig twice as deep to bed them !
You can't compare 4 coil to 2 coil on pull outs and trap coming un set while bedding.
F&T has the NO BS
Amsoil!
Duke 650 over a MB 550 any day.
