We have 1 just like it. Purchase 1972 at a farm auction. Still runs good. Ours is a 59. Date is stamped around the chassis where you have that oil bath off
Thank you frigginpos for commenting and watching my videos. Yes I was excited to own something my grandfather once used for his business, and now I use it in mine. Summer time is hard for me to make and edit videos because I dont have the time really. And i used to make a little money at it. But now i dont make anything until i get 1000 subscribers. So please share my videos all over. What's some things you would like to see more videos of?
Hey man, it’s probably got a marvel carburetor on it. You need to get a repair kit. They are cheap. Go through the carb and get it running tough. That is an awesome tractor. 5speed , live pto. Do yourself a favor and go through the engine oil and also the transmission/rear differential oil get the tractor up to operating temp and then drain the oils. Remember the transmission and rear end share oils. Don’t get some cheap “tractor hydraulic oil” get something that matches the Ford specs. There is no filter for the hydraulic oil so you gotta stay on top of it. Shit your fuel off every evening and don’t leave gas sitting in the carb. That’s a nice looking tractor. I’m glad you got it back in the family. You know what they called those engines??? “Red Tiger” engines.
Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. This is all great information. I did not think about alot of these things. I kept it and used it for a while. One of my family members wanted it so I let them get it to use around their house and bought me a case 60a. 4x4 with a loader. I really like it. I do miss this small tractor tho. Thank you again
My grandpas ford 2000 gas looked similar just it was blue with white fenders it was a 63 I think to bad someone stole it 😏 I was a kid when it was stolen had good memories with that tractor wasn’t just a tractor it was family 😏
