I had boardwalk right away, but it took me a bit to think of Marvin Gardens, had to mentally go around the board quickly and start thinking of every property and just before time ran out, it hit me. Hard to say if I could have kept my composure like that under the lights and the pressure. Way different when you're at home.

Odd to see Alex ending the 30-second timer early simply because it looked like the three contestants were done writing. I’m guessing that rule was abolished before the 90s because I don’t remember it ever happening.
Yeah I do remember they did that in the early years of the show. I think they changed it because they wanted to make sure that everyone could take advantage of the full 30 sec they are entitled to in case they realized during the time they made a mistake on their answer.

Sometimes I feel like they will throw a curveball just to see if people will wager aggressively or be too conservative. Getting the question right is the most important part of course, but if you don't wager properly, you still lose the actual game.
That Poland question was the only one I got right. It itself is not easy. I only knew it because of Poland’s partition in 1794 by Russia, Prussia, and one more, I can’t remember.

i always prefered alex with his moustache. although it made him look funny without it i didn't mind him shaving it off but he didn't have to keep it off. as far as the correct "questions" go i averaged getting about 50% of the regular jeopardy questions right, 75% of the double jeopardy questions right and 95% of the final jeopardy questions. but i haven't watched the show, or any tv, in 20 years. yt is the all i watch and it pisses me off as over the last 3 years yt blocks 95% of my comments. isn't technology wonderful?
I disagree, especially the last one. Everyone has played Monopoly in some form, even if it’s not the classic board game. It’s really as simple as remembering the names of the improvable properties (so, already excluding all 4 railroads and the 2 utilities), and you quickly realize the 2 that don’t end in “Place” or “Avenue” are Marvin Gardens and Boardwalk.

they didn’t penalize the 2 contestant for misspelling an easy thing as Wile E. Coyote but the penalized that kid for misspelling Emancipation Proclamation? That is not right.
My take on the spelling rule as to what is presented. The player who properly spelled WILE E. COYOTE should have won because the other two didn't. Just as if that (scoring/spelling) were reversed,she should lose. This is a game of knowledge,which in the end includes writing. The rules should reflect this. If "Final Jeopardy" could be done verbally as the rest of the contest then it wouldn't matter. If one were to spell it, WHY LEE KYE-OATY,should/would it be accepted? Either every player gets it correct or incorrect,shouldn't be played both ways. Bending the rules should only occur if equally applied,that is,if they each spelled incorrectly,no harm-no foul. Afterall;the contest DOES HAVE spelling,grammar etc; as categories.
