Hey really nice fly, I watched the new one and then came to this one. I guess I need some of that dubbing. Do you sell it? Well I'll just check your website. All the best, Sean

Fine tutorial, no matter how many times I watch or which updated version it's always beautiful and I still learn or I'm reminded of an aspect of fly design. Thanks for talking about the hook, that's the foundation of the design, and you've shown your concerns with other patterns I've watched. That bruiser blend comes alive when wet, that's your own blend? Great job guys.
Cheech, are you serious about casting Rapalas or is that a joke? I love to fish and use both spinning and fly to do it. More power to you! Thanks again, one of smartest channels on the tube! 👍😎🍺

Hey just wondering what do you use for the flash for the bruiser blend

I was wondering the reason for why you switched to the tmc hook with this pattern? Would you still recommend the Allen while using the standard bruiser blend dubbing?

What kind of vise do you have?
what kind of bobkins do you have?

We use all kinds. Right now we use a lot of Loon and C&F bobbins. Our vise is usually a Griffin Montana Mongoose, or a Regal Revolution.

Man, I am not sure this would catch fish, show us it catching fish! geese!

Unfortunately, this fly is not designed for catching geese... Only fish.

God, you talked for 2 minutes about the hook before even tying? Boooooring!

Yep. A good two minutes of talking really gets the juices flowing. Thanks for your feedback!

I happened to appreciate your thoughts on hook choice. The trend lately seems to go away from traditional "fly-tying" hooks, so this was interesting to me.
