Sacchi's impact on Italian football and football history is undeniable but his career was way too short to be the best of all time

No such thing as the best coach of all time, however there are those ones who leave a permanent mark in football. Sacchi (along with Mikels) is easily one of the most copied coaches by tacticians today e.g. Sarri, Conte, Klopp, Guardiola etc. In other words, Sacchi is an OG.

Well You forgot who Sacchi got his ideas from it started with Mikels followed by Cryuff then followed by Sacchi after Sacchi came Bielsa who’s ideas were passed on to this generations best managers like Pep and Poch

@@miguelsoriano4846 to me personally there's so much to being a coach and a manager to simplify it so much. Matt Busby, Alex Ferguson, Jock Stein and Bill Shankley all did things great in terms of management and coaching. Tele Santana and Arrigo Sacchi did great things, as did Rinus Michel's and Johan Cruyff. Marcello Lippi and Brian Clough were excellent as well as Marcelo Bielsa and Helenio Herrera. Aside from the obvious affect and greatness of these people there needs to be some criteria to judge three people on as I have different reasons to varying degrees for all of them.

Jamie Simms that is true one man you left out is Wenger. Before him we probably wouldn’t have such an advanced medical staff in these clubs and such high standards. Cristiano and Messi wouldn’t have been anything because of Cr7 heart problem when he was young and Messi’s hormone deficiency once they grew up without all the proper dieting and training they wouldn’t be what they are today.

@@miguelsoriano4846 Thank you! You are correct about Wenger but there are many more really in terms of progression. Fergie did things with medical sciences too. You are correct to mention Arsene though. Sam Allardyce was pioneering statistical analysis long before most. To me Weil Coerver is awesome, same too with Manchester United's Jimmy Murphy, Tottenham's Bill Nicholson and even Jimmy Hill. There are countless people who have contributed to football in so many ways and some people are forgotten or even overshadowed by others. Just imagine in the whole world how many unknowns never got credit for what they had innovated. Would you believe me if I told you that I am an inventer who has had some ideas stolen and even held a patent in 1996 but could only afford to hold it for a year (I couldn't afford to create a prototype) and then a well known established company bought the patent and went on to make money with me getting nothing would you believe me? I have even two of my inventions make two separate people multi millionaires in the last three years. Or that in 2014 just over 6 years ago (Jan 10th, I think it was a Friday) I had a meeting with a board member of the English FA about several ideas and he was willing to finance me (the FA's cash) but although I liked him it seemed like he would take my ideas and I felt I gave away too much so I didn't pursue it? This is all true and I have had to hold back the football innovations when I have been coaching so that the ideas couldn't be stolen. I was temporarily a chairman for a semi-pro club and was willing to implement some of these ideas but that job didn't last. I was speaking with someone at a top club at the beginning of January but they have gone cold on me. I will try other clubs. I've met some great coaches at grass roots level too it really is a cool world, this world of football.
