I was in a bad car accident and suffered a concussion. I had horrible vertigo for over 6 weeks. The room just spun if my eyes were open. Nothing my Dr. did helped me, but I finally went to a chiropractor, and with one treatment my vertigo was gone. Something about crystals in my inner ear. That was probably 13 years ago and it has never come back.

I was in a car accident, years ago. Vertigo is what I’m left with. I had a neurologist for awhile, he had me on medication for it, but didn’t work. I’ve been to extensive therapy for it. When I have a “bad” episode, I do have to go receive help for it. It is not a fun thing. You just learn what brings it on, and try to adjust. Good luck

My husband had vertigo several times. Yes they put them on that nauseated medicine, but they also told him to increase his water like a lot and that helped him and every time he starts to feel like he’s getting vertigo he increases his water and it really helps. that’s what his doctor had him do Anything worth a try. Good luck:) This was a nice video with Shayden:) tfs and God bless:)

VERTIGO experience here!!! I suddenly developed vertigo 8 yrs ago while weaning off of klonopin benzodiazepine so i thought it was damage to the vestibular system, tried eply maneuver and other things. This has lasted 8 yrs until 4 mons ago i started weaning off cymbalta antidepressant and by the end of 1st week the vertigo was alot less and kept improving over the months. So check any meds you take and any changes youve made recently. ❤❤❤❤

Vertigo is awful! I had BPPV (Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) from an abrupt change in yoga positions. The crystals fell out of my inner ear. The Epley's maneuver (getting The crystals back into the correct location ) worked for me in the ER, but I was off kilter for a few months. Speedy recovery

I had it bad like that and I know you said you don’t like the bed exercises. But if you force yourself through the nausea (have a trash can ready), but it really does help. I forced myself, was spinning like a top hanging on to the footboard. I had to roll over and throw up. But after that, my vertigo was gone.

For years I had what I called " dizzy days" I would have moments of lightheadedness throughout a day or two. Fast forward several years when i woke up just as you did. The whole world and my eyeballs were spinning. I was scared I was having a stroke!. I finally got up and held on to the walls so as not to fall down. I looked online, which was hard to do while everything spun lol. I found that maneuver you mentioned. I did that maneuver several times, and it fixed me! Well, it fixed me for a while. I had to keep doing it for several days before the vertigo left. I have had vertigo a few times since then but I fix it by doing that maneuver. I never would have known just how debilitating vertigo is if I hadn't experienced it myself. I could not imagine having to take care of 5 littles while having vertigo.

Hi Jamie, I empathise with you having vertigo. It is so horrible. I had it come on in 2019 while taking my dog out one night. I was so afraid and didn’t know what to do as I was so afraid of falling and not being able to get up, especially as it was sub zero temp outside. I managed to get in and call my son who came with his wife straight to me. Like you I was nauseous, vomiting, then got a headache so paramedics came, took me to hospital and there I was diagnosed with BPPV, benign paroxysmal postural vertigo. Yes, crystals in the ear. Gradually it went away but comes back every now and again. I also was given Dramamine but like you, it knocks me right out so don’t take it again. Phenergan was just as bad. I now sleep mostly on my back with a wedge pillow and that helps a lot. Love that Sheyden joined you today. He looks and sounds exactly like my grandson, Alex, who is just so lovely. He is the eldest grandson and is so good with all his younger siblings and cousins. Feel better soon. It does improve. BTW here in England driving with BPPV during episodes voids your insurance so it might be good to check on your own insurance. When the episode has past it is ok to drive again. Big get well hug! ❤

You may have fluid in your inner ear if you just got over a cold. A few months ago I had a minor cold, which was followed by vertigo for several days and ultimately turned into a very serious ear infection. It was strange because I did not even develop a fever until my ear began to unclog. The doctor never mentioned anything about crystals, although it is possible that that was an issue as well, since I heard crackling just before the ear became unclogged and I felt fluid in my ear. Apparently women can become more prone to ear crystals after menopause. Just keep in mind that if it does not clear up there may be more going on beneath the surface.

I had bad vertigo on and off for years and the Epleat movement was far better than drugs I was given. My Doctor did it for me when it got really bad. Do it when Chad is around, it’s more reassuring. It will suddenly stop once you retrain your brain and move the crystals. Good luck

have your ENT doctor to set a date for you to have the Epley treatment. I have had vertigo for over 20 years but the Epley was a blessing from God! I've not had any vertigo for over 5 years! The ENT also found my "crystals" inside my ear were 'here and there'. More on one side. The Epley treatment put the crystals back on the side where those needed to be. Who knew??? All God's very best to you. The Epley is painless, takes only a few minutes. Just sleep in a recliner for 3 nights after the Epley so the crystals don't move back after the Epley. I've mentioned the Epley to so many friends and they swear by it. Epley is covered by insurance at your ENT also. I was put on 1 tiny Zytec med once a day at 6pm each night. Those helped to drive up moisture in my ear also. Bless you!

Call a neighbor, share leftovers with a neighbor, leave a generous tip, donate item to someone in need, or give a hand when needed. No matter what… do these quietly and give the Lord all the glory❤

There are youtube videos to do the Eppley Menuver at home. This will only work for the BPPV kind, but it is worth a shot. I have a different type, so I take 1000 of magnesirm in the PM and B complex in the AM to manage it instead of a drug. It works for me. I would consult a doctor first before you take that level of magnesium. I hope you get well soon🙏🏼
