While I appreciate Tan’s style, I disagree with EVERYTHING age offered up in this video. John already has great style that perfectly matches his personality. I love his classic style! Also, that bone colored suit was horrible in general, and really washed him out.
That suit was not only too baggy in the middle and too short in the sleeves and body, but it was a wrinkled mess and a hideous color.... in other words, it was junk.
John was so shook by being told he looked older that he was not mentally present for the rest of the shoot. 😂

John did say that the suits give him a 1950s feel, which exudes the energy of an older time period, which is why Tan thought it aged him. And for me, John in the pink suit confirmed Tan's assessment, because him wearing that made him look like (to me, mind you) Grant Gustin's brother. As in, more age-appropriate if not more youthful than a 1950s style dress code.
But it doesn't really matter to me one way or the other, because John is hot always
