  • In this video, I take you for a walk in Gyeongbokgung Palace Complex in Seoul, South Korea. Gyeongbokgung Palace was built in 1395. It is the largest of the five grand palaces constructed by the kings of the Joseon dynasty. The complex consists of several gates, the Throne Hall and a large number of smaller buildings which were used by the King, his family and top officials. Within the premises of the palace complex, you will also find the National Palace Museum and the National Folk Museum of Korea. The former official residence of the President of South Korea is located within short walking distance. At the end of the video, you can watch the changing of the guards ceremony which is considered one of the top three tourist attractions in Seoul.
