    I just bought this design, and although I have some experience, I was a bit overwhelmed when I opened it. This video is very clear and easy to understand. And I so appreciate not having to squint or listen to a lot of drivel that doesn't have anything to do with the purpose of the video. Thank you! I am looking forward to making it.

    Just purchased. Can you give instructions on adding the grommets and what size strap you made. Thanks.

    • @threadmodeembroidery2374
      @threadmodeembroidery2374  Год назад +1

      Hi it’s been a while so I’m not sure the strap size but it’s a standard strap length. I typically make them to be 3/4” to 1” width and the grommets were a 1/2” inch size.

    WELL DONE video tutorial, and I love the pattern, too -- just purchased it! Looking forward to making lots of these bags for everyone! (PS It looks like there's a typo in the description box above: "5x10 hoop version" should read "5x7 hoop version.")

    Thank you, this is quite amazing. I had no idea that something like could be done in the hoop. Do you use a thicker than normal needle? The card pocket sides look to be quite bulky.

    • @threadmodeembroidery2374
      @threadmodeembroidery2374  6 месяцев назад +1

      I typically use an 80/12 ball point, only because that is what my machine likes to stitch with. For the cotton materials I sometimes switch to an embroidery needle. The card pocket itself isn't that bulky, however the whole pouch can get bulky if using thicker material. I prefer using cottons with a SF101 interfacing ironed on.

    What tape are you using. Not the double sided tape but the other one you use. I use masking tape but your tape looks lighter. 😊.

    • @threadmodeembroidery2374

      I use some medical tape, the paper kind when I can get it. It is thin and doesn't stick for me at all. The plastic style medical tape works too which is what I see in the video.

    I'm so glad I found this video! Just purchased and can't wait to start making these cell phone pouches! BTW, I'm going to add RFID fabric between the lining and front and back. I've heard that aluminum foil works, too. Have you heard any differently?

      Sorry, I don't know anything about foil or RFID material. Just be aware that there are already a lot of layers so adding to many will make it harder to turn :)

    Thank you for your time and efforts to make this tutorial. Suggestions if I may: I purchased pattern, however, other than the "tab top", there are no references as to which stitch file to use first (eventhough files are labeled "1", "2", etc. Could someone please rename the files in a more logical manner? Also, nothing in the instructions make it clear as to which order of file to use. I want to make several of these for gifts but don't have enough time to watch the video repeatedly (spouse has dementia and my free time is beyond limited.) Thank you again for a wonderful tutorial and such a pleasant voice and clear and concise enunciation. Love this project.

    I really like this pattern, except, I wish there were written instructions, with pictures, that would also give the cut dimensions for the pieces. There are no instructions with the pattern. There are only the files needed and file names. ie. What is the cut dimension for the center pocket and the side pieces?

    • @threadmodeembroidery2374

      @@threadmodeembroidery2374 Evidently, my download did not include it. I re-downloaded the pattern and the other PDF info finally showed up. I'm printing them out now.
