i think they dropped in multiple child pairs in the background so everyone can go around scrambling assuming they're nico & bianca. this way, they also dont have to settle on the actual future actors for them if there's multiple red herrings.
that said, the VR headsets covering the faces are kinda genius and make a lot of sense
Don’t get me wrong but didn’t Nico and Bianca stay in there hotel room?or am I wrong plus there from the 1930(right?) so they wouldn’t interact with that type of stuff I really dont understand so maybe it’s them.Nico is my favorite character and I searched for them the entire time and then I remembered that they would be in old stuff attire and I think it’s to soon to show them.
Also, keeping them out of focus is also pretty brilliant as well. I think Morgan is onto something with these factors. It’ll be easy to cast them later

I doubt we would have seen them too clearly, because they will need to cast new actors later, and the actors aren’t stuck in a magic time freezing casino.

I’m not ready for Nico to be casted to be honest, because we all know he goes through so much at such a young age but people still seem to forget just how young Nico is. He’s literally 13/14 at the end of the Blood of Olympus, he’s so young

They confirmed it was a child yelling Bianca in the background, but I think Rick said there wouldn't be any physical cameos because it would bring up too many problems for later seasons (If they happen)

Theres also a moment where 2 kids walk behind percy and annebeth that are both wearing identical purple shirts. Not nico and bianca but possibly camp jupiter kids which would be a really nice bit of setup for the FAR future, if we get a HOO show

i love the trolling they were doing, i think they just cast every brother sibling duo roughly their ages as extras and then easter egged the hell out of them. i‘m not sure they‘re commiting to actors for nico and bianca before they have to.
Nice to see some possible easter eggs that could be Bianca and Nico De Angelo, Hades' demigod children. It is interesting that Hades is the only member of the big 3 who honored the pact, while Zeus and Poseidon both broke the pact. It honestly makes sense for Zeus to break the pact because he has shown consistently that he can't control his lust for women, and he probably puts himself above his brothers, the pact, and everything else.
D'Angelo is an actual sandwich restaurant chain in New England so I don't know if I would really consider that to be an easter egg. Still cool regardless..
A problem I see with the Lotus Casino in the show is people forgetting each other and not just the time. Grover needed quite some time to remember his friends after being there half a week (and we honestly don't know yet, if he regained all of his memories by the end of the episode).
So imagine how it would be after living there for about 70 years...
To be fair at this point Grover knew Percy for a year compared Nico and Bianca being siblings
I'm pretty sure, in the books they also started to forget stuff but they remembered when they left.

I didn't spot what you spotted. I think I was focusing too hard on spotting Nico and Bianca in the Lotus Casino. I only noticed the kids that walked by the entrance. I thought they could've been the siblings. Although now that you pointed it out that they're in the background and playing VR would make more sense. Bianca is using a quiver and bow and Nico is much younger. The actors for Nico and Bianca haven't been cast yet so their faces would be covered which was done in a clever way.
Rick also confirmed that in one scene you can hear a group of people cheering Nico’s name as he has just won a mythomaniac tournament

No way! I actually never noticed that. That's such an amazing detail, and the VR detail kind of gives non-readers a clue about Bianca becoming a hunter of Artemis. RIP Bianca, you will be missed.

Yay!!! 🧡 I was literally waiting for you to make this video so thank God you did! What I thought while watching the episode yesterday was that it was the two kids who walked by the entrance as Percy and Annabeth were in the process of leaving only to remember Grover that they’d split up with Grover and that he was somewhere in the casino. It felt very subtle and I immediately perked up and each time I rewinded the seconds, they really looked like siblings. This (if those are meant to be the Di Angelo siblings) would be perfect also because we don’t really see them fully, so this could allow the creators to cast them or other actors later on in the series (which seems more realistic). I did love your theory. 🙌🏽
If they get to season 3, its going to be my favorite. Titan's Curse is my favorite of the Olympian's series. It was so good.
I hope they do, but right now, the fandom is split in the middle right now..
Sameee! I think book 3 is where the series really takes off, the stakes are raised, and like Harry Potter, we get allot more intense and dark moments that really add to Percy, Thalia, and especially Nico and Bianca

naaah why stop on 5 lets go we have 2 more and some sides for me its sounds like we can make a series for the next 15 years, but yeah aging of actors would shit the whole series because the second books cannot be represented in different seasons bec they are set on very short period of time

Nico is incredibly fascinating and I won't say why for avoiding spoilers. I will correct you on something- Hades was the only one loyal to the oath. Zeus had Thalia and Poseidon had Percy & Tyson (yes I know what he is, but he was born after the oath so it counts in my eyes). Nico and Bianca Di Angelo were born long before the oath, between 1930-1932 estimated.
This gives me hope that the other books in the series will get adapted.

I didn't watch the tv series, and i just read the books year ago. personally i don't know much about the tv series, but the books plot is absolutely amazing. But nico is one of the charaters with the saddest backstory. Also, some people hate nico and will's ship because they are gay. i didn't like gays much before, but after the books, i definately love solangelo. i hope you cover more about nico since he is one of the most interesting characters in the books!

I think it was his daughter that confirmed they are not shown on screen and it’s only audible Easter eggs, because it wouldn’t make sense to cast those roles for another couple years

Idk if you've seen it but it was a car that had the date of when Nico and Bianca got trapped, it was a chevy coupe black car in the garage in the episode. Rick also wrote he thought they had a scene with Bianca cheering "nico nico" as Nico became mythomagic champion, but they must have cut that or they changed it to "bianca bianca" of nico being happy he won in that VR mythomagic game as you said and maybe became a champoin there. And the "bianca bianca" is confirmed easter egg, not sure about the kids but it's odd that girl did the bow and arrow thing, feels like an easter egg.

2:45 those 2 kids, the way they’re dressed I would not be surprised at all if they are actually who’s supposed to be Nico and biana. We know the lotus casino gives people clothes in their room( I’m pretty sure) and why wouldn’t those clothes be time period accurate? And the girl’s outfit honestly looks surprisingly close to 1940s outfits for children, so I would not be surprised if that’s Nico and biana.

Yes I know it’s not a dress. But honestly, considering that Bianca had to take care of Nico from an early age, I wouldn’t be surprised if she would have naturally gravitated towards fashion that was considered more “boyish” for the 1940s/30s (I.e, a jumpsuit). Maybe it was more useful for her environment (carrying cash, i.d, ect), she might not have wanted a purse, she was probably running around a lot, skirts can get in the way.
Though Nico’s suit number is a little odd.
