Great review of this unique fragrance! I get almost a mentholated green rosemary, woody smell with the orange just creeping in the background into the dry down. Then a nice clean ambery base. This is freshness done in a different way and I like it a lot once the rosemary fades a bit.
Jaques Cavalier is a master this is by far the stand out of the entire house its sooo potent, aromatic, green and unique and I have a couple bottles stashed away, dont be fooled by the bottle because there is nothing blue about this.
A deep blue-green gem! A forest after the rain with the rays of the sun breaking out from the clouds, drying the aromatic plants and evergreen branches. Great review Joy, I agree with your thoughts on this one, even if I wasn't sure upon first sniff, it's a modern classic imo.
I've used this perfume for 12 years. I love it because it's masculine and unique.. Very unique. Since i bought it i've started to look for unique perfumes. And yes, it's not for everyone. Good review!
I just blind ordered this, people say it's a fall/spring and maybe a colder summer evening smell, I had the regular Issey Miyake and i as well as others loved it. I'm hoping I can still wear it in the summer.

Hey Joy, i too have this issey miyake bleue, even though the first time i sprayed it i wasnt really that into it, it later grew on me. I use just one spray, these wierd monsters i call them, they smell the best when you get just a wiff of them, thats when they do their majic. They are so good at doing what they do, you gotta use them like a spell of majic and sparingly. Its the bluest fragrance ive smelled, blue on top of blue lol
I appreciate that this is a unique fragrance, but tbh not an easy reach for me. HOWEVER, I layered this with D&G Intenso (another fragrance which I'm not crazy about) and it became absolutely beautiful! I went with 2 sprays of L'eau Bleue and 4-5 sprays of Intenso. For me, the bad thing about Intenso is that it's way too powdery to my nose and the metallic+herbal quality from L'Eau Bleue creates a gorgeous balance! Please give this a try if you have both

I have this perfume and I'm satisfied with it. There's pine in the smelling also. This perfume isn't very good in cold weather especially here in Northern Sweden.

I agree with Marc that this is like a Burberry London "Lite", because the mix of notes give it a tobacco scent, but with a hint of citrus to brighten it up and make it fresh.. I love London, so during the warmer days, this is perfect in my opinion!!

It's a powerhouse Fragrance and at times way to powdery for me. Could have been the amount of sprays I did cuz I am heavy handed. Both were $20 a piece from a discounters store.

This excellent review inspired a piece I wrote about the perfume for my job. I loved the image of mossy trees and the waterfall - so inspiring!!!
