Honestly I think the Bear summer field kit should be ranked higher. From my personal testing it seems to be the best outfit to wear if you do not want to be seen. Wear the proper green camo gear with it and you can literally vanish in bushes. I had many PMCs walk literally 3 feet away pass me because of it.
I have that uniform IRL and its one of the best i own for summer time, so light and breezy yet its camo is so effective where i live during summer you are close to invisible. I wish ingame i could put the hood up on it for extra concealment.
Bear summer field, Ratnik covered helmet, ANA M1/M2 armored rig, and ANA Beta2 backpack. Your choice of mask but green shemagh is nice. This is the ONLY perfect gearset in EFT.
The "fishing net" shirt is actually the US Army's night desert camo from the 80s/90s. It's specially made to be less visible in IR conditions (many uniforms, especially darker ones, will "glow" when seen through night vision.) It's not a mesh, it's just printed with that grid. Saw a guy wearing one of those while riding the bus a few months ago.
How dare you put the Aggressor in B tier. You've practically spit in my face. This absolutely egregious crime will never be forgiven, at least personally.
my go-to general purpose outfit for outdoors is the Aggressor Tac, base pants (or the Sage Warrior if it's a little darker), either a normal half-mask or the green shemagh, and either the camo 6B47 or Chimera, depending on whether or not I'm running armor. it's just the most versatile daytime concealment, as far as I'm aware anyways. I've had many people stomp right past me in this setup.
The most important part of any PMCs fashion choice is the camouflage to scav-lookalike ratio. you want something thats still functional camouflage while also leaving the player scavs second guessing what they're looking at and hesitating before shooting.
I always loved the idea of making the clothes do something, like more pocket size, faster movement, perhaps quieter movement, and some modern combat clothes even have additional properties like flame resistance, built in tourniquettes, built in soft armor that can protect against light frag or barbed wires and such, and also IR reflectivity now that they're adding that finally
I usually run the UCP and sage warrior because the default game filters are sort of grey-blueish and I feel like it actually looks like a decent camouflage for urban maps in my opinion. Ye, I know UCP sucks IRL, I also felt bad using it, but I started to like it in tarkov after a while...
The commando sweater and trousers are based on british army pieces, the trousers and in an old dpm camo and the sweater is based on a pattern the british army used for like 40-50 years.
we still use that sweater or "woolly-pully" even to this day, normally on cold days when doing drill or instead of jackets when in 2's dress, some people even still wear them over their combats in the winter.
I've been changing my cosmetics a lot this wipe and a couple weeks back I found the ghost marksman outfit, holy shit. Such a badass looking cosmetic and it actually helps hide you as well. S+.
The aggressor is great for Scav cosplay. So many scavs were confused when I shot at them wearing it. It's because it's one of the few tops with no insignias and it looks like the mustard top some scavs wear.
Very likely getting that with the upcoming patch, When they were showing off the updated USEC clothing on the last TarkovTV there was a new desert camo pants in the list
im sad he didnt talk about the gloves on the jackets. personally i pick all my jackets based on the gloves cuz thats all you see in raid. some of the gloves you see when in raid in first person are so nice that i dont care what the jacket looks like
The commando lower is actually wearing gaters, not waders. They're designed to protect your legs from dense foliage, thorns, and branches and keep things like ticks from getting to your legs through the gap between pant and boot. I wear them in the field all the time as a biologist. Makes perfect sense for a PMC to be wearing them too.
I always rock the “Christmas elf” full set. Love it just because you never see anyone else wearing it, and you can make a full “green goblin” outfit with various green things. (Green goblin > tan man)

Little fun snipped of information about the Universal Camouflage Pattern(UCP). It was actually developed, tested and proven ro be the best camouflage pattern. The kicker, and every single fucking nail in it's coffin, is that it relied on every soldier who was issued it COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY IGNORING EVERY SINGLE FUCKING UNIFORM REGULATION. It proved amazing blending in, hell it's the best pattern I've ever worn as a civilian, but it is a pattern one can only get away with using AS A CIVILIAN. UCP relies on you actually adjusting it to your environment. Basically the correct way to use UCP, is to gather mud, gunk, leaves, all of the different things that are in the environment you will be operating in, getting it all in a nice pit, jumping in and pigging out then not washing that uniform until you are safely away out of the operational area. Which goes against every single uniform regulation ever made or enforced. Also, I did kind of gloss over the fact that UCP is fucking atrocious under NV, but honestly that wasn't as big of a killer for it as one would think.
