Next weeks video will cover the BASEBALL choke, which is another favorite choke of mine.

Excellent tutorial. This is my go-to from side and have gotten more taps than probably any other off it. Osss!

No wonder why I wasn’t finishing anyone with this, I was using the same side lapel lol.

Never seen the mouth thing. I think I’m with you, it’s a weird option.

Is that a ninja choke? I've always seen the ninja choke as the opposite side guillotine with no lapel involved. Never seen this before... Cool choke though whatever it's called.

what I find very hypocritical and disrespectful is the fact that most bjj practitioners or fanatics always seem to enjoy ridiculing ninjutsu or bujinkan or jutaijutsu or whatever ... but somehow this doesn't seem to keep them from using 'ninja' as a label for something within their grappling technique curriculum (instead of the other way around, since bjj wouldn't even exist if not for jutaijutsu) as if 'ninja' is all of a sudden something to be feared, something useful ... you either respect your ancestors' heritage jutaijutsu or you keep 'ninja' out of it, one or the other, you can't have it both ways

This is a basic Lapel choke and you don’t do it properly. You should extend you right arm to finish the choke it creates way more tension in the lapel.

Sorry for coming out rude, if you want to see a good version of this techniques look up Roger Gracie’s lapel choke video

When you turn to face their lower body and the opponent can't see what you're doing, do you recommend getting into some nasty business?
If you know what I mean 😉😉😉
