Amazing you only need 30/40 HPS on 27 while I had to do 70K HPS for a sub 20 😅
Certain keys have lower hps requirements. Freehold is one of those examples. I just did a +25 VP where i did 91k hps overall but did a 25 UR where my overall was 60k. FH requires even less and when you pull massive like this, it skews the numbers lower since you’re doing fewer pulls. Also they’re amazing players who make very few mistakes
I hear you there, pugged into a 17 NL last night for crests and my god.. the guys stood in absolutely everything! Ended on 71k hps. Its really shows the difference between a pug run and coordinated group run.
they're in voc and somebody is calling all kicks/stops, so no cast goes through, healing is only here for unavoidable damage and in FH (or even BH) there's very few of them outside bosses

Even if they nerf Hpally with 10% it will still be the best healer currently.
Their toolkit for M+ 5 man healing is just great.

thats insane, as much dps as i do in ret lmao. Is the aug helping that much? Also do you prio vers because youre running such high keys?
Augmentation is doing a ton right now. I have only ran the raid with them so far and had them add 30k ST to the first boss on my warrior when I did 152k overall. You also have to consider the key level he is doing as well. I have no idea if this DPS is good or not for a healer but with the much longer/bigger pulls in a key like a 27 you'd be doing much more than 87k overall as a Ret if you are playing properly.
They’re great for healers too had an augmentation buffing me as resto sham but on magmorax ended 147k hps with shitty trinkets from last season at 435 ilvl in resto gear

Alot of players are nat attracted to this kinda playstyle. People like to heal and heal only, this damage implementation for healers in M+ scares off alot of potential healers.

I agree to an extent. My argument is that this healer damage is not needed at all until like key level 24-25. So (probably) the players who don't like this playstyle are also not players running such high keys.
You see that's not true because this and last season was mainly high healing checks and lots of healing and what happened?
No one wants to play healer anymore.
People like doing DMG and contributing to the key!
There may be some that don't heal anymore because they want to dps as heals, they can just roll a dps then. I think some don't heal anymore because it's too difficult for them!
I love high healing checks and lots of healing. That's why I rolled a healer and love having a healing challenge and I hope they don't change it. I feel very satisfied in contributing to the key by keeping everyone alive so they can do their thing.
I like it. It differentiates the best healers from the not best healers

well played, im happy for you but i think its a fucking joke of blizzard that a healer class can deal so much damage. it shouldnt be like that. cause it will form a stupid meta we dont need. people are like " oh have u seen that holy paladin dealing 90k dps in freehold? from now i only want holy paladins as a healer in my grp and i expect them to deal atleast 85k dps+ otherwise we will never invite them again"

Healers have been doing tons of damage for seasons it’s never started a meta for requiring healers to do damage everyone knows healers doing damage is secondary unless your running like 27 keys but even then there’s a lot of healers that run 27 that don’t do even close to the damage he’s doing here
