Besides performance and some smaller things like inventory and general QoL improvements, it's one of the best games ever. Little hard, but you can get OP with items. Great game
It's funny to me how people complain about performance but I played this game day one on a "gaming laptop" with rtx 3060 and never saw any perfromance problems at all. The only problems that I have is the inventory crap. The fact that you have to store your thousands of things that you collect inside of individual chests or cupboards and for you to use them you need to run home, search any of the 20 chests with 10-20 item slots and run back to the shop / workstation to use them. It's a game where I'm supposed to fight and collect materials and equipment, just let me do that, don't make it as annoying or tedious as possible when that's the whole point of the game.
Every time I try and talk to the sisters who sell leather crafting, I always press my back up against their table when attempting to talk to them. Its aggravating.
But you don't have to sit there and wait...just adjust the clock forward 4 hours. Also why would you NEED to wait 4 hours? There is nothing stopping you from simply doing something else while you "wait". It's not like the timer is putting you on a cooldown, forbidding that you get on with the game O.o
I really hate time gating. If I have to adjust my clock to get around something, that something it bad and shouldn't been there. Your are 100% right the time gate dose not stop you in any way from playing the game. Thank you for the comment 👍
are you seriously moaning about it taking time to build buildings? theres a time cycle in the game 4hrs may correspond to 8 days in game? it never bothered me enough to cry about it. the performace issues did not make the game unplayable i finished it the worse area was the gate but it had a shit load of people around there that tanked my rig.
Time gating is a massive bug bear of mine and I hate it. In my head I am not sure if there is ever a justification for it, but you are right it doesn't stop the game in any way. thank for the comment! 👍
Time gating what about when you dont notice it? Dragons dogma time gates and no body seems to care it slows movement and spawns mobs at you to slow your progress so you dont have time to realise the game is small and empty
Only negative thing in the game is the optimatization if it will be fixed and run smooth its 10/10

I wish I had the same performance as you. but I am glad you had a good time. The Inventory stuff is a very very good point!
I agree I got a a 3070 i7 12k and performance is still bad once they get that down this game will be 10/10
