Addiction does not discriminate. I'm sending her love and prayers ❤️🙏 so unbelievably beautiful
She is a WARRIOR❤️
She survived domestic violence and overcame her addiction, she’s now forgiving to her addicted parents and able to speak her truth…to the world! I know all too well how domestic violence/past traumas can lead to a devastating addiction. We CAN survive and we DO recover💜
Correction a real warrior is a person who sees other people go through bad experiences by their bad decisions and fights against making the same bad decisions0 that they made whether it's the type of person they choose to marry and live with or the type of things they put in their body that's the warrior not the person that succumbed to it and fell down time and time again get your wording straight!
Looking at her background, I can see how it turned her highly conservative. Traumas can turn you into a very extreme person.
More like some people have to learn the hard way not to have such an open mind that their brain falls out.
That's why she should have been humble and not be so judgy based of the fact the her live is also is mess.
💯💯💯💯
She's a self-loathing black woman who judges her own race for shit she has done herself - so yeah, a typical Conservative.
Rural, Conservative America has the highest rate of opioid abuse.
Thx U Stacey for sharing your testimony. I know it made a difference in someone’s life. May God help u to heal. Fellow Aquarian Sista.
Always speaks so eloquently...and not that it should matter really but what a beauty, lucky her body and face have stood up well to the destruction and hope she stays well
She’s so pretty.
54 😮 wow she still looks great , even after what she has been through
Stacy Dash: You are a Courageous Warrior Princess. Your testimony will Impact & INSIPRE many. Keep the faith in, Keep Shining dear sister. Psalm 27!! :)
She shoulda gone on Black Media if she wanted to be honest about who she is. We were the ones who were the object of her scorn.
👍💯
💯💯💯
She already showed us who she is. Sober or not. She sold out.
Exactly. She's been Sober for 5 years.. So she was sober the whole time she was clowning us.... Now we're supposed to pretend that didn't happen and care about her life struggles? No.
@@agnescampbell7692 sold out because she’s not a sheep democrat?
When they said she was 54, I was like...."WHAT"?! She looks amazing!! This chick wasn't affected by drugs as far as her looks. Geez girl! U look great!
I’m glad she got the help she needed. She’s beautiful !!!
Her mother gave her drugs. That's a hard thing to over come. Everyone doesn't react the same to trauma. I'm glad she's ok and alive.
I just remember hearing what she had to say in the past and thinking "no no, something is not right there. She does not sound as though she is well. She doesn't sound like she means what she is saying." And here it is. Listen, I am not a fan of hers but I am a human being and so to hear her speak about her life, well, this one hit me in a very clear way. I wish her nothing but wellness and ease. We often here about addiction being so horrible because it is so horrible. She is taking accountability for what she lived through which to me says, she is not an addict that is unable nor unwilling to evolve into a healthier person. Much love to you Stacey. takes a helluva lot of courage and strength to take yourself out of the addiction. you're/she/Stacey D is doing it. rooting for you! from a person that is neither a fan nor critic; right here in this clip I just see a woman that is done being subjected to addiction. that is gorgeous stuff.
Imagine if she were not fired from Fox News and if Trump had won, would she be having these come to Jesus revelations? I think not really.
@@traceytracey3756 thats the whole point. the whole point=no space for judgement when the truth is meeting you where you are. all else such as Fox News and that creepy Cheeto that is on all levels not only not in tune with the truth but actively creates lies and violence just is not powerful enough for the truth to take her to Jesus or whomever a person believes in. Its safe to say every one has lived through hardship but addiction is no game. When a person is as addicted to pills as she was(key word here is "was") they just are forced by themselves to look at what the actual truth is. not some right wing racist superiority view point. a view point. a career. supporting Cheeto: none of that is all that interested in the truth. to be on all that medication is literally mind altering. She wasn't able to be truthful. At some point, the lack of truth met the whole truth. I dont envy her; I've lived through some similar things as she speaks about and its not impossible to leave but feels impossible. To any one I may have offended by my anti right wing conservative jokes, I just don't care. unwilling to empathize with people that are proud to be racist.
@@ssatpath There's nothing racist about the right, conservatives or Trump. He helped the black community succeed economically, while liberals did nothing but feed into overblown grievances that made people think they had the right to loot.
She is so beautiful! I'm so happy for her.
I wish her nothing but the best of luck with life and healing
4:52 She asks people to please look on people with more understanding, compassion and empathy, yet she spews hate on other people. I do respect her for coming out to share her story. She's a troubled person but sounds like she is making progress and I wish her the best.
Agreed. She visited her pain on others, that’s my issue with her. Hopefully she’ll move and grow past her own troubled past. At the same time, work to be a better person to herself and others.
Exactly
"her own people"
Hurt people hurt people.
This explains a LOT!!!!! I hope she finds happiness in recovery 🎀
She's had said a lot of nasty things about people of color. She needs to apologize for those unnecessary comments. Hurting people hurt other people.
She doesn't need to apologize to anyone. I'm glad that she got her life together.
She's great
This made me have a new found respect for her. I had no idea she went through all this. You never know what people go through and why they are the way that they are. She’s gorgeous and I feel she really could’ve been THAT! Girl In the entertainment world if not for the things that happened to her. ❤
Yes!! Praise God she lived! I lost my good friend a year ago to alcoholism 😞
I lost my brother from alcoholism.. It was a very sad time for him, he couldn't let it go..
@ im so sorry for your loss.. my deepest condolences.. my brother just confessed to me that he’s been drinking daily 😞 I told him to give it to God and he will take it Fr him .. he did it for me .. 😔
We all have weakness and we all need the compassion from others and the Grace,Mercy,And Love of Jesus to help us get through life
So beautiful an sad at the same time I 🙏🏽 for her overcoming this obstacle whoa
Thank you for your courage, Stacey! Sending hugs!
She's so brave to come forward to talk about this, most of the time people are shamed. It's become such a big demon to tackle for so many people.
Her interview has to be one of the honest revealing and authentic heart felt opening of one’s heart. You can see she’s humble. No shame left. No hiding from God. But I’m sure she now has received the full love and power of Jesus Christ. I hear it in hear voice.
What a precious person. So glad God has helped her ❤️ How bold to share her story with others to help them get help too
She’s absolutely gorgeous . I feel for her . I can’t believe her story i was always envious . Wow you never know .
Yup u never no ! It's not always brighter on the other side ! U only see wats on the outside. Never judge cause there always a underline situation why pple go that road . No one's better no one we are all human !
Envy is bad
@@musiclyricluver9855 that envious part has me like😮🥺
THIS SHOULD BE A LESSON TO YOU TO NEVER ENVY ANYONE BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT GOES ON BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. I LEARNED THAT WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER AND I AM IN MY EARLY 60s
Wow. I am so glad that Stacy Dash lifted herself up and took control over her life.
Addiction kills families. I wish her strength and health on her road to recovery. I do not support her political views or past verbal attacks against President Obama, but I do understand that people struggle with all kinds of personal challenges, and deserve support when trying to get their life back.
What about the shit she said about blk people in general and how she doesn’t claim her black skin ! Obviously this comes from her upbringing I see now and to top that off with addiction smdh She has A LOT of trauma, pain, & confusion to work thru
@@lailanimessina1473 Thank you! I was so glad you said this!!!!
This was extremely informative
I look at her in much different light now wow this hit me in my soul to hear backstory and then her last words reverberating in my heart look at addicts with compassion they need help that is deep as someone in recovery that was so touching and moving 💛
I'm just so glad she's still here.
Is this the same Stacey Dash that was a cheerleader for right wing conservatives. The one that said we should get rid of the BET awards, and BLACK History month.
Jesus is your free gift to heaven when you believe in his death, burial and resurrection you are immediately saved.
It’s time to forgive now
"Black" Americans are aboriginal indigenous Americans. Black history month is indoctrination -- lies-- and should not be taught. Aside from that, I don't know why she would support republicans. Maybe republicans are a lesser of two evils?
@Elle Amarí She has never denied her black heritage. Dame Dash is black and that's her cousin on her father's side and she has always mentioned their relationship. Also, why would she deny her father for being black, but not her mother for being Mexican? They both were addicts.
@@lovethefields You can only speak for yourself. She was very deliberate in her words and actions.
I pray divine healing and continuous strength for Dash🙏. I plead the blood of Jesus over her mind for wholeness!
I love Stacey Dash😊 she’s so smart, talented, and beautiful! Praying for you Stacey!
At least she is completely honest. She is a roll model for others fighting addiction. 💯% ®espect to Ms. Stacy Dash. Her message is a real one for everyone dealing with any addiction or life challenge.
Wow!! Had no idea she went through this.. I can’t believe she’s 54 she looks like she’s in her early 30’s hope she continues her sobriety and thrives ❤️
Wow, the way she explains addiction is so accurate. "It fills the pain....it slows the brain down".
I'm proud of you. Your story will help others. Your wisdom is amazing. God has a plan for you. Know that your not alone. So many people are going through this and more but thank you for your story.
Thank you for being so brave to share your story, that takes courage, you deserve a lot of respect
It's heartbreaking to hear about Stacey Dash's struggles with addiction. Addiction can affect anyone, regardless of their public image or success. It takes immense courage to open up about such personal battles, and I hope she finds the support and strength she needs on her journey to recovery.
That's the most heartfelt and honest conversation I've ever heard from her. So glad she's ok and able to overcome her issues and strong enough to bare her soul to help others. Bravo Stacey! Keep up the good work sista!
So I guess you're just forgetting all the dangerous and poisonous things she said about black people?
@@generalinformation3507 I really think she's battled identity issues. Really sad! Crazy to say such bad things about your own ppl

@@aGwEENapple No, There's been job openings for disparaging your own people for a long time now, She was an early hire. She was fired a couple of years ago and now she wants to come back home. As far as I'm concerned The hotel is full, No room at the Inn
She’s stunningly beautiful. Glad she’s healthy and in remission.
I've read her book. She's definitely been through some very tough times. But she pulled through and she looks fantastic.
Oh my gosh bless her heart. I've always liked Stacey Dash. I pray she heals from this. Addiction is an ugly monster that steals light from way too many💔💔
Bro I was taking 30-40 Watson 540 Lortab 10s a day when I was 15 years old. 120 would last me MAYBE 2 1/2 day. I’d wake up on the 3rd with no pills no money and just want to d!e. Opiate addiction is the devil man. It’s just so fkin hard.
She looks absolutely FANTASTIC! Congrats to her & I wish her well.
My Heart ♥️ really goes out to Stacy Dash. I love the fact that she’s been REAL, RAW & TRANSPARENT. We’ve all been thru something in our lives we just find different ways to cope at times. As a Sexual abuse/Physical abuse survivor I think about how God saved/rescued me from so many things including myself at times. I battle with Clinical Depression/Anxiety & CPTSD. With Therapy an God I’m making it thru day by day an learning to Love myself more than ever‼️ Battling my inner demons isn’t easy but the end result is worth it.
Losing Brittany Murphy was bad enough. I'm glad we didn't lose Stacey too.
In this world there are only two kinds of persons: The sinners and broken people who admit that they are sinners and broken; and the sinners and broken people who deny that they are sinners and broken. The latter is the group, which tends to point fingers, judge and condemned people from the former group.
*most females needs to be as accountable as Dash!*
*She still looks fantastic at 54 and she has accepted that she’s not perfect and we all need help!* 👍🏾
Stacy dash is brilliant everyone goes through a rough time what matters is that she out of it now.
She's never out if it. She will always be an addict. She is in recovery, but will always need to maintain her sobriety.
Wow! It takes a lot of courage to be able to talk about what happened to her! I'm proud of her for getting clean!
Wow! You never know what people are dealing with! Wishing her the best! ❤️🙏🏽
It's hard to believe that such beautiful eyes could hide so much pain. I hope she finds the peace and joy that she so richly deserves.
