Jeremy was sad with his stereotype. As a black female I want to zip line. I want to skydive. I like symphonies and plays. I enjoy listening to Bach and Joplin. There’s more to being black than what the media portrayals of us are. I’m happy he and his girl are good but he needed to be comfortable in his OWN skin.

I'm latino and have lived with Blacks all my life and what I notice is that in black community, both men and women in general (as in not always), tend to have certain images in their mind of how their males should look and act. Now I don't want to get into the reasons of why (IMO its a part of conditioning) but I've seen it time and time again. If you dont fit the mold you are outcasted. Same with latinos, but in a different way, they peer pressure you to be married by 25 and 2 kids by 30, and you arent doing that then you are thought of as a weirdo. I can't talk much about whites and asians, but I assume that's the case in some way as well. No one wants to be looked at and stereotyped, and it takes courageous individuals like yourself to break the mold and go out of expectations. We are all beautiful as races, the same deep inside, slightly different culturally but all the differences is what makes life's variety special.

I'm a huge comic book and scifi geek who grew comfortable in my own black skin being who am and not what others think I should be. He should do the same. Its not others fault. Really? I mean, usually girls reject shorter guys, it happened to me a few times, the height was the only reason. Me, I'm ok even if she is 2 inch taller than me. :)

I think really tall women are more accepting of shorter guys, but normal sized women really don't go for shorter guys at all. I'm 6'1 and dated a girl who was 6'3 she was a godess so i'm not complaining but I have to admit i struggled with it lol
