I'm a college teacher. I encourage you to go back to school. Get your general courses done. But then find something you want to do. That's the key. Don't take on a trade that you'll hate. Working at McDonald's is a dead-end too.

You right on there, get as much schooling as you can...you will decide what you want to do as you go through school. There are much better jobs than McDonalds or Starbucks, if restaurant area is what you like then being an owner/manager or a chef is great way to go... but your young and learning the basics in school now will lead you in many directions. Give Sherpa a hug when you see him!

You should do a video or you faking passing out to see Sherpa’s reaction. Also; you are so sweet and polite that is so refreshing. I didn’t go to college until I was ready and knew what I wanted to major in I was 22 when I entered college today I am a nurse practitioner, don’t stress you have time.

When I was your age I had my life all planned out. None of it worked out and I dropped out of school. I worked full-time and eventually went back and graduated. Take your time and wait till you find something that really interests and inspires you.

Adding more schooling is helpful. It is so good to try different things when your unsure what you want to do.
Sarah you grow so much on a person, you have such a spontaneous and friendly personality.

I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. At 65, I still don't know. I have done most of the things I dreampt about while growing old. I let whatever come my way career-wise. It has filled my life with wonderful experiences that most never experience. I'm still going on with my dreams.
My advice (take it or leave it) is to go back to school. Study whatever subject you fancy. Get your degree and let it continue your career journey. If your whims change, let them change and direct you to the next wonderful experience and so on, even if it leads you back to school. Always remember the universe/God hs your back when tough times hit.
I have two B.A. degrees which led me to being at the press site for a shuttle launch at NASA - a really cool memory! I have friends from everywhere that are more like family. I taught school, worked photo labs, freelanced, am now going for my dream of being a gallery artist and am, as of this last Fall, a gallery artist! I waited on tables, worked at Disney World, helped tag sea turtles and am continuing teaching as aa substitute.
Basically, dream big! Then go for it! The most that will happen is you'll hear a no. If it is something you really want, continue working on until you get a yes. Most of career success comes from knowing your stuff and being there at the right time or knowing the right people. Just dream big and love your life!

So spontaneous. Loved it. You are right. The word " Sherpa" became famous due to Mount Everest climbing expedition. Sherpas are very hardy Nepalese men who would accompany the mountaneers on their expedition to Everest.

I enlisted in US Air Force at 22. Made it a career. My daughter got her BS at 22. She worked here and there, then joined Navy at 30. Dont limit yourself. Look around. Enjoy your adventures while you're young. Life is an education if you do it right.

And make sure you do things that YOU want to do before settling down and starting a family. My cousin, a girl, joined the forest service fighting fires for a couple of years. She also had a standing “date” with Karl Malone every year during training sessions. She loved playing basketball with him. He was a professional basketball player in our state. Of course you’ll share many adventures with your new family, but take care of things that are personal to you. And don’t rush into a long term relationship until you get your schooling done, too. We waited until we were 25 to get married. Sorry, didn’t mean to write a novel. 💕

It's so good that you are honest about not knowing what you want to do. You are still so young and not everyone knows what they want to do. It's a great opportunity to travel (when it's safe to do so) and no doubt you will learn more about yourself and find what you want to do along the way.

Great start 😁 I went back to college when I was in my 40's. No regrets for not going sooner. Things change. Now a days they are better at guiding you on where you fit in. I liked the idea someone said nursing. Dream big, be a doctor or researcher. Your live in a great place for archeology. Rocks don't talk back 😂😂
