I make doll clothes for the 18" , 111/2" and baby dolls. Children's clothes and a lot of other things. I was taught to crochet, knit, and embroidery also. I have taught myself to use some power tools to refinish small pieces of furniture. I am 74 until Dec. I was in 2 consignment stores but had to leave them because they had to close their doors. I used what I sold to supplement my social security. I am a retired beauty school instructor. I like to use old clothes as well as new fabrics.

Sometimes I go to a store called SAS or I check out Good Well for fabric. But I have several tubs filled with fabric and used clothes. I like to take old used things to make something out of it. Plus I only buy patterns when JoAnn Fabric has them for sale at $1.99. I took a pair of shorts that wore out in the sit and made a shorts outfit for one of my eldest Great Grand daughters. My granddaughter now has 3 little girls so the shorts outfit will be going to each girl in time. Phoenix, AZ, USA

@johnettehaines6291 How wonderful that is to pass on clothes and repurpose them? I'm all for that and bargain patterns. Great tip for all
