Brings back memories on the old commodore 64, it was one of the best games ever and this new one also looks Amazing.
Bub and Bob would make a good primary spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The spirit would enhance a fighter's grab or even make the fighter have floaty jumps or something.
Looks good, and the soundtrack is fine... but the apparent lack of contents worries me (especially with its price). Bubble Bobble Neo/Plus had WAY more for a lower price. Heck, even some of the old arcade games had at least just as much as this new one.
I said exactly the same thing, I imagine the price will drop quite fast. Also the content is short it can be completed in about an 60-90 minutes. Nonetheless it's a really good game.

Last time I’ve seen a good Bubble Bobble was back on the GBA, but this seems well crafted. No ugly models and designs, faithful to the actual series.

I don't like the artstyle. Taito tried to make them more cute, they were fine as they were. You don't see Space Invaders being redesigned lately, because they ain't broke, so they don't fix 'em. They have had some redesigns, but that was in the 90's with Super Space Invaders, but they were just the regular sprites made of metal with smoother animation.

Why did they change the gameplay? those bubbles are shot far to fast. . . the dragon design, i dont like... only good thing: the original games is included. meh... why do all remakes of classy nice games suck... :/
