of an empty house, in an attempt to capture the wonder of childhood boredom.
When I saw the first edit, I loved it so much that I immediately thought of using it as a video for the piano version of “Sol and Luna”.

Just want to say that. I don't know english well. But i want to share my feelings with you, whoever you are. Its just so cold. Like, your hands are freezing, but you can't do anything. You just stop wherever you are and just looking one place. You can't feel your heart, you can't... You just want to believe that somewhere, someone feel like you. Just feel same as you. You are not alone, you are... Not alone...

this is a very nice composition, I particularly like the harmonic references to Chopin's prelude op 28 No 15 (Raindrop).

What is truly beautiful and hypnotizing with Joep's music is that it will always remind things you never lived. Bringing back the memories you never had which surely is the apogee of beauty in my opinion. It is just an ensemble of notes that we surely heard before but he manages to make it sound so new which is the depiction of genius
Absolutely... it feels like there is something you don't know about yourself. I don't know how he does, but the things he creates aren't just "normal songs". I felt the same with a lot of his pieces. it's just special.
He came to Australia in March of 2020 just before the circus commenced and after his performance I went to meet and greet him and I said to him: my whole life flashed before me during that, thank you. He just had this humble look on his face and said, wow.

What I find also so beautiful and powerful, about these songs: are these compositions Mr. Beving share. They are helping understand whatever I am looking into. Especially when playing and memorizing the songs. Something happens. Like a chopin piece, making it so enjoyable to hear happening...changes of tonalities, surprising momentum, transe induce calmness when the notes resonates enough in a suitable pattern, etc!
