- In this video, I visited just TWO of MANY aircraft boneyards, graveyards and scrapyards found all across the US desert Southwest. Today’s journey took us across the Grand Canyon state, searching for a boneyard with some of the best opportunities for filming. What happens inside the boneyard, and what kind of legendary abandoned airplanes can be found at these massive facilities? Watch the video to find out, and make sure to leave a like and subscribe if you haven't already!

All I have to say is that it's just so cool seeing these historical retro planes all together being taken over by nature and weathering
Hi
It’s certainly a bit eerie to think of the history behind them as they weather in the desert sun.
hi, supsnail!
Omg I am a fan😊😊😊
Um the legend once again 🎉🎉🎉🎉
seeing all these 747’s and a380’s at scrapyards and realizing they were probably recently scrapped still makes my heart ache
Makes real men cry
@@ice711real seriously

Only GLOBAL can save em
definition of depression😢
As an avgeek, Seeing abandoned planes makes my heart ache a little, But it still is nice to see :)
That’s exactly the feeling!
To be honest I think that DC-7 should be in a museum, not in a boneyard
Unfortunate, isn’t it?
@@ice711real yeah 😞
@@ice711real yep
It’s owned by a church group who was going to fly it around Africa on missionary flights.
@@dougross8043of course it was,….typical church vanity project….leave Africa alone, they’re messed up enough
nice logo intro
and thanks for responding man
and next vid should be "answering my dms in discord"

I love your intro logo with the little paper airplane, should be the new channel logo and brand identity
👇 People who want that to be the channel logo
Honestly it's really cool but ice if u read this I've been a big fan since you had 351 subs pls keep the og logo it's so good
like begging as always
He has it on insta
@@ThatGamerPilotyep. Haven’t changed my RUclips pfp tho. I kinda like having two different ones but maybe one day I’ll change it.
It's a really cool design but too generic to be the ENTIRE brand identity
This one is cool, but there’s also a huge airplane graveyard in the Mojave desert. Tucson also has a bunch of retired military aircraft.
Definitely would love to visit Mojave one day
@@ice711real Meet you there lol
I went there, The food at the restaurant is 10/10. And you could possibly see the L-1011 Like I did
NO WAY MOJAVE DESERT LIKE FROM FALLOUT NEW VEGAS!!!1!
Very cool boneyards, and a very cool video by Ice once again :)
woa i wish someone could restore this amazing aircraft 7:05. and that md 82 is beautiful 3:36
The music is giving ac7 vibes, nice!
This brings up old memories from my granpa… he flied the Dc-7… long live aviation!
🫡
My grandad went in the first Concorde. He didn’t fly on it but he got a tour.
my heart melted by seeing these retro planes🥲
Yay new AZ vid I’m guessing this was also back in February, but yeah pinal is sad with all the 747s especially THE DREAMLIFTER😭😭😭😭, but yeah the Goodyear one is good I just went there 2 weeks ago I think, and seeing a 747 is nice especially when I have a shot of it looking at you, but no the pilots plane ain’t gonna end up like the others and plus it ain’t his plane, because it’s united aviate academy’s plane, but yeah lots of spirits to become spirits, and yeah it’s, 90% graveyard, 10% scrapyard, but love you ice🧊🩵
Imagine walking by these planes while listening to "A Horse With No Name" on your headphones, it will feel like you're in a dry desert..
Another amazing vid as always
0:40 I heard that those Airfast Indonesia 737 Max is going to fly again, good ending to those planes at least
Great shots, great editing and just a great video in general! Felt like I was watching a documentary the entire time! Definetly a video different from the silly vibe in other videos. Keep the great videos coming!
Thanks mate, I do like to make a different style of content for all audiences to attract the most broad amount of viewers.
if you are ever in Washington state in Seattle or Everett, Washington there is a storage facility just like 3hrs away from Seattle. Its Grant County International airport and it's in the middle of Washinton state. It is also a testing facility for Boeing and the United States Airforce. Anyways I would love to see you cover this place in a video so yeah.
the evil boneyard that destroys legendary planes.
As the abandoned airplane... Some Lion Air 737 Max just chilling at boneyard after a crash happen
I've been wanting to go there for long. Lucky you that you could!
My heart dropped when I saw that white 777-300ER at the beginning, it was practically brand new and was supposed to go to Azur Air, it was all ready for delivery when the sanctions came around. Now it is just rotting away. How sad.
Nice, You should visit Victorville and Mojave desert one. there are tons of DC-10s, But it is so sad to see all of this golden history just sitting there!

Big big is loving the vibes here 🤠
He sure is 🤠🤠🤠
To be honest, I feel like the least people could do would be to put the old planes (Before the 80s) in museums or other stuff, because it's just sad to see pieces of history die
It sure is sad, but you may be surprised how many have actually ended up in museums. Obviously, there’d have to be thousands other museums to supply thousands of aircraft, hence why we see so many scrapped
@ice711real Agreed, but I feel like we can at least try to preserve the most we possibly can, since these planes are becoming rarer and rarer, and since future generations would most likely be interested in the history of aviation, we could try to preserve them while they still exist
Edit: Thanks for the reply, I love your content and have been around since you had 3K subs:)
Great video Ice! I enjoyed watching that short but enjoyable tour of the airplane boneyard.
Glad you enjoyed it mate
This video just felt different and made me cry, a truly great video by ice 711 giving them more fame.
🙏
Ice711, Could you maybe go on a journey to find bankrupt planes instead that haven’t even made it to 2000’s such as PAN AM and other?
I’ve gotta check this place out the next time I’m in Arizona! Great vid Ice!
Thanks for visiting AZ!
Hope you brought ice cold water
Hey ice, if you want to see an MD-82 in pretty good shape, there’s one in Ostie Field in Fajardo, PR. They recently closed the gate to get to the plane but there’s a part of the fence missing out the back, I’ve gone there with my dad multiple times and not once have we seen a security guard or camera
Ice must have his heart melted by both the Arizona heat and the emotional sight
Indeed I did
We have a boneyard here (kinda at FZNA). We have like mi-8, Dc-3, il-76, yak 40 and a mig 21. It's crazy to see all these planes just sitting in the desert
(Btw I just noticed that you´re certified)
You know that plane graveyard is freaking crazy when a Spirit airlines plane is in it
4:15 My country was mentioned! Air Astana is planning to retire its Boeing 767-300ERs in 2025 and replace them with three Boeing 787-9s.
I also forgot to type that my first flight was on an Air Astana Boeing 767-300ER to Istanbul. I was 11 months old at the time. That flight was from Astana.
Heard about their plans as well for those aging 767s, crazy to think we’ll see them here soon…
@ice711real they are planing to make one of their Boeing 767-300er's a Cargo plane Imagine seeing a Cargo A20N (Airbus A320Neo)
4:37 I've taken a couple shots of this (D-ABUP) when it used to make the trek from Frankfurt to Tobago. Good times.
I'd love to live in one of those ✈️
U know, seeing these abandoned planes are just something else here 😂🙂
Fantastic video btw 😎👍👏
1:17 the Cessna is mocking the jets...
3:00 What’s good spirit
You should go to the one in the Mojave in California at Victorville Southern California logistics for 747 and a380
Kingsman aiport i think has a few dc8 and some old stuff too. I wish i could visit these boneyards
You NEED to come to Mesa gateway airport! A couple days ago i saw 2 Dc10s!
7:00 it’s amazing to think that this DC-7 transported thousands of people back then
1 ice711 video = 1 good day in my life ❤ keep up the good work mate!
I can’t imagine how eerie it must seem!
Quite astonishing honestly!
Hey Ice711, Try finding a Pan Am livery and TWA livery: you may accept this as a quest anytime
To be fair I found a TWA livery at the PIMA Air & Space museum, check out the vid

It's so sad to see the planes being scrapped it just makes me cry, the memories they would have been carrying thinking of the gives me eeriness
just went to victorville and mojave, it was really cool to see all of the aircraft lying in the desert sun! But it was a bit sad.
This is an example of a place that I would want to go to.
Worth a visit for avgeeks
“SOAP! WE’RE UNDER ATTACK BY SHEPARD’S MEN IN THE BONEYARD! SOAP! GET DOWN!” ahh setting💀
ngl I feel so bad for the planes I bet they wanted to fly longer #ripairplanes 😢
Ice711 respecting the lost 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
I’ve been in a retired aircraft outside museum it’s cool
I hope that MD82 will not be scrapped anytime soon as it is one off my fav planes and it being a home to the pigeons was heartwarmnig
It has been on my bucket list to go to one of these to check out the planes
That Shaheen air A320 looks cool
I was there in February for the Tucson gem and mineral show there and I went there and got a tour from the president of the boneyard company it s sooooooo cool but heartbreaking
That’s super cool! I wish I could go there 😢
Glad I could give the tour at least!
@@ice711real thanks 😎
Wish I lived near Arizona. Would love to go there
As a Arizonan from Yuma I’ve been to Mojave countless times
I’ve seen the 3 SIA planes in SG getting scrapped, the 2 A388 and the 772
I think it’s sorta sad to see all these beautiful planes like this
Seeing retired planes always making me sad somehow 😢
Indeed it does. Cool pfp btw
Ice is back again with more uploads !
1:29 This N315MQ plane, used to be a Latam Brasil and Tam A320-200 with the original registration as PR-MBO
Ice711 back with an goated video
Sad to see how all these planes took to the skies but now they are just history, left to rot away
*"* *Wish we could turn back time, to the good old days.* *"*
Nice! You oughtta go to the Laurinburg maxton
Sad to see those planes abandoned
NGL this was actually educational for me, when I saw first one of these from you, I couldn't believe US has them, I thought they would be ALL around the world!
There actually are many boneyards around the world, but the US is known for having most of them
Unfortunate to see aircaft like that but it has to happen eventually
Banger video
Love all your vids 711 kepp it up
I wonder if there are some SyrianAir B747SP's scrapped here. Also nice video! 👌
All these planes are just memories 😢
Been to the boneyard, so beautiful
Always banger vids keep the good work!
BRO I WAS LITERALLY TALKING WBT GOING TO THIS PLACE WITH MY OLDER FRIENDS AND ALSO PIMA AIR AND SPACE MUESUM
The amount of Spirit Airlines planes there are in the second location is crazy.
Yeah
Some cool airlines I haven’t even heard of.
Same, seems to be a fair amount of low cost carriers from around the world
0:30 why is there a JetBlue A321NEO?
Likely being stored
@@ice711real oh ok thanks!
My local plane boneyard there is a b747 form British airways
I’m gonna cry of seeing all of this airplanes getting scrapped😢😭😭🛩️🛬🛫🚁
I've been watching since 60k
7:08 Caribbean Airlines ftw!
The music sits the vibe well
Glad you like it!
Another great video 👍
I wish to go to a plane boneyard because i wanna pretend im actally flying the planes i love :)
The fact they’ve got such a staggering number of probably airworthy aircraft sitting and rotting is insane like if y’all don’t want it give it to me
It is a shame, just how the aviation world of competition runs tho, even some new planes get outdated
1:17 the Cessna is mocking the jets about retirement...
6:05 that’s a lot of Spirits, ngl
Man, this is just crazy.
Honestly that intro was fire
Thanks 😎
The fact hat some of these planes are the last of either fallen airlines or retired aircraft makes me sad
Timestamp 7:11 I Flew on that Caribbean Airlines 737 before back in 2015 from Guyana, N2833
Wow, now that’s an honour!
See if you can visit the Mojave, Ca. Graveyard!
I really wish they wouldn't retire so many aircraft. Maybe that new airline from your other video will take at least the 747s
