    Still doing this four years later and loving it. But you know what, I haven’t used a boat bristle in forever!! I might honestly get back to that. I decided last year I don’t want to use “deep conditioners” bc I’m lazy lol so no more banana masks and stuff. I actually started mixing different things to create rinses. My hair loooooves it! I think I’ve created the ultimate “rinse conditioner” and never have to worry about my scalp or my sebum again. Good luck to you!

    U just thought about this but, as someone trying to live by scripture..when you say boar bristle brush...that's swine bristles??🤔 I be ask because we're not suppose to eat or even touch that particular animal, so if I'm correct, I'll need a different brush. I haven't used a brush in my natural hair in a very long time though, because it's breaking so badly

    love this video! One question after you apply your leave in and when it is time to wash you hair a couple days after do you just use water to wash it out?

    Love the video and the information. A couple of questions: What type of shower head do you use? and how do you make your leave in conditioner? Keep helping us grow beautiful natural hair!

    • @NaturalGirlPretty
      @NaturalGirlPretty  5 лет назад +1

      Jimmie Bullard thanks for watching! The link for the shower filter I use in the description box. The fenugreek and cactus conditioner is just soaked fenugreek powder that has turned into a gel. The cactus gel is made the same way but I use actual thornless cactus pads and soak overnight in my Kangen beauty water then I strain it. I then combine both gels.

      One more ? Will it remove sebum two?

    • @NaturalGirlPretty
      @NaturalGirlPretty  5 лет назад +2

      Ranny M it is a clarifier so while it will remove sebum build up it will not strip or rob your scalp of it’s ability to continue to produce more sebum

    I kind of do the water only washing method. But it's more of a co wash when I need it, and the rest f the tie I keep my hair stretched. I scrtich and preen on damp hair. I'll only dip my head under the faucet when co washing. I use trader Joe's tea tree tingle conditioner. It's slippery and actually leaves my hair and scalp clean, but leaves my hair moisturized enough.

    • @NaturalGirlPretty
      @NaturalGirlPretty  5 лет назад

      Justine Horton as long as it’s working for you that’s all that matters 😀. Are You clarifying your hair at all? Co washing can leave a build up on your scalp.

    • @justinehorton2527
      @justinehorton2527 5 лет назад +1

      @@NaturalGirlPretty I actually don't have build up on my scalp. I used to have build up when using shampoo more surprisingly. The only product I use in my hair is the lightest amount of jojoba oil. I tried the matching shampoo with the conditioner from Trader Joe's and found that my hair was super stripped. Then I tried the conditioner by itself and found that it left my scalp and hair clean.

    I'm so glad I started this. I am on day 5 and I no longer deal with significant itching.
    Crazy thing I watched the lady daphanie video yrs ago, and I couldn't trust the idea of just water. My hair should be down my back now, if I would have tried it. I guess I was to ignorant, real or ready to grow (pun intended). My hair and scalp feel so wonderful.

      Yes! I’ve been using absolutely nothing but filtered shower water and distilled water on my hair for 6+ months and hair has never been better. Excellent growth, strength, elasticity, moisture retention, hair ends, and smells fresh. Hair is super easy to manage and style. No more long wash days with extensive steps. And the money saved!!!! I installed mini twists with absolutely no product and they are smooth and shiny. They wash well without frizzing like crazy too. Who would have thought?!
