*Video Context:* TDS was literally made in 2019. If they decide to at least try to fix the issues with the performance of the game. Then the devs would have to fix these issues because of "optimization" like: Scripts, Models, Graphics, and much more. *(it's harder to pull of then you would think due to the introduction of new assets)* *Main Context:* In reality, it's Roblox's fault. due to poor server infrastructure management. Honestly tds nowadays feels more optimized than tds around 4-5 months ago like now i can play a fallen match on my phone without lagging too much while around 4-5 months ago i lag alot when playing fallen and crashing on ftost invasion with a ps5 is kinda crazy like i play on my 6gb ram phone and didnt lag too much and still able to play the game
Also since with all the new menu UI, u cant join back if you get dc since all menu UI take a long ass time to load in and boom there goes your join back pop up.
i think its the lobby itself since everytime i play no matter how many player in server in even small once gave me lag plus the elevator buggy while everything need to load in. back 2021 frost invasion. since the lobby was much more simpler and compact there was no lag. talking about elevator its also a issue i expiernce when i was done loading in and when doing elevator(because it isnt rng) when i joined i need to wait ALOT and ends up crashing.
I think the mission is a bigger problem, not bc it's hard because of how the player uses it. I cant stress how many player left bc i didnt want to do this map that map that shit its just so fucking annoying bc the other player would also leave bc that damn person just leaves. Even if i have a phone and pc that handles the game. It wouldn't matter if the game is unplayable bc these types of players are gonna be ruining my game. The only way to fix this is to have the mission have their own matchmaking lets say you are doing this mission. You will be paired with the same people doing that mission

For me most laggy things are engineer that's very laggy and rifleman from mercy that also lags me if there is like 40 of them but it doen't lag with other units
The reason Tower Defense Simulator lags is due to Roblox and device limitations Tower Defense Simulator is a large game with many scripts and animations which can run down low end devices to the point they could possibly crash

Well honestly for me since the frost invasion came out, the game becames really laggy till this day, I don't know why.

Remember the Hexscape event on the 3rd night, many people complained about it causing even the most smooth devices to crash
Though I never got to experience it before since I joined TDS during Hexscape event
@WarrenSim-ci1jx heavy enemy spam, many towers firing,boss itself using the attacks and stuff causes lag so high that it would lag even in tdx
I literally got insane lag and sometimes crashes on the final wave of Hardcore
We'll not only that the major parts of the game is using outdate code pair with they love spam many big model or model that too detail
My laptop almost got killed over a cut scene in the winter spot light event in tds
