I was so in love with this beautiful man, his voice, his music. Listened to his album every morning getting ready for work. presented him with a red rose at a concert when he sang Everything’s Coming Up Roses and he knelt down at the front of the stage and wrapped his arms round me. I was in heaven! In later years he performed at our local arts centre and, after the show, my sisters and I gatecrashed the Green room where he was very kind and polite. Such a gentleman! I still love his music.
