As much as I loved and still love the both of them, I highly doubt they had an affair. I would love nothing more than for Ilhan and Burcu to be a couple. HOWEVER, I know that he is in a long term relationship and would never do that. Unfortunately, the press (not just the Turkish) always want the most fantastical story they can think up and they don’t care about ruining people’s lives. I wish there was a price to pay for the paparazzi to pay by publishing lies.
On another note, I believe that Ilhan and Burcu’s pairing is the best both of them have had. Their chemistry was OFF THE CHARTS and they did what they were hired to do, ACT! They are both amazing actors even apart from the AMI role, and they just made us believe them and we fell in love with them as a couple. However, once reality sets in, we, the fans, and the media, should respect the fact that they have private lives off of the screen. I am sure Ilhan’s girlfriend feels so bad every time she hears that because I don’t remember the press ever accusing him of cheating with anyone other than Burcu. Such a shame. I wish Ilhan and his lovely girlfriend nothing but the best and I pray everything works out for them. I also wish the very best for the beautiful Burcu. I pray she finds a partner who loves, cherishes and respects her.
