Slapping magma with your hand protected by a layer of water is called the Leidenfrost Effect. Geologist loving this episode :-)
Loving year of the elemental. Been trying to write a dark sun adventure so these elementals feel like great Defiler minions.
ONE more and we hit 400 my patience is on fire. Thanks for another great episode guys.
Hopping on here cause I wanted to finally see those minis in your room. Not disappointed. I missed out listening on Spotify 😂
P.S. Dragons of ice spire peak is awesome. Relatively easy to run, very node based so not as linear. Great intro to d&d 1-3 shot
OUT OF ALL THE THINGS YOU COULD CHOOSE TO COVER YOU CHOSE SOMETHING-(I LISTEN ON SPOTIFY FOR CONTEXT-LISTENED TO THIS EPISODE COUPLE DAYS OR ONE AGO IDFK) AND HAD TO LOOK UP THIS HORROR SHOW SO NOW BOTH ME AND MY HUN WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU TWO.
Also P.S. long time fan, love you both 💙
Great episode guys
Ya know I never knew lava children we're so terrifying before this episode, before I thought they were just a little goober guys and had no idea they could just passed through metal like a horror movie monster...... I'll remember to put them in my next game! 😈
I would love for you guys to do homebrew monsters as well
28:30 While Ogremach and Ogramach are spelled different, they are pronounced the same.
Ironically, Ogramach was known for her agility and nimbleness, which rocks famously aren't. She was also the 2nd best warrior in the world, helping her master The King of the World (who was The best warrior in the world) invade Ireland. Finn Mac Cool defeated them both in single combat.
I love how much fun they have!
I can't wait to see the new elementals we're going to get in 5r (2024) to fill out the CR range. These two are great for lower level fire elementals and I'd love to see equivalents for the other 4 elements (or 4 elements adjacent seeing as these guys are fire + earth = molten magmah)
Also I feel you can make more paraelemental versions of lava children? like frost children that hunt you in blizzards with frostbitten faces and needle red teeth! or ooze children that muck about in around dank, moist, dark sewers with bloated slimy faces with tiny eel teeth! or dreaded smoke children who appear in dark Smoky rooms at the corner of your eye or where houses burned down covered in Ash and a creeping smiling white face !!so many new ideas to scare my players thank you so much!!!❤🧒 Also shout out to demogorgon and his ixitxachitls homie!!! Ps also sorry if this sounds incoherent I'm at work and using text to speak
Doip = dragon of icespire peak
Tod = tyranny of dragons
Magma but cooler?
Did you mean lava?
During year of the elemental, lets remember Salt Dragons are for non-combat encounters only.
Do you think Magmin play with Magmar when they go to the local lava pool?
I was very concerned about bee piss till you explained it...
Humm… would a Blade-lock’s base pact weapon (the one you can summon if you haven’t made a preexisting weapon your pact weapon) be considered metal or would it work against magmin?
I still say “clown shoe behavior”
I was the 69th person to like this video.
