THANK YOU, this is the ONLY Vid on YT that actually EASILY EXPLAINED AND SHOWED how to calculate the compass. Really, thank you. Be Blessed.
Thank you. The instructions from Casio Suck :)
I have owned this watch for 7-8 years and now I finally know I have to calibrate the compass to make it work
Me too mate.i have it from 2012.
Do you recommend it? Any downside?
I'm very happy we have someone intelligent explaining the watch instead of playing music and having gloves on and going through the functions of the watch not explaining just stupid stuff I'm so happy that you're on making a very good video you just cheer me up on a Friday night that you sure did thank you ever so much your best friend 🏆🏆🏆🏆👍
Excellent instructions. I didn't even know declination adjustment was an option. Thank you.
Thanks for stopping by 🙏
Thank you for the detailed and clear explanation!
thanks for posting this. I couldn't find the instructions. :-)
God bless you, brother praise God for you!
Thank you so much for posting this clear instructions video. It's difficult to read the instructions from a booklet with tiny instructions and same time adjusting/calibrating the compass. I really appreciated you video, thank you once again. 👍🙏
Glad it was helpful!
Thank u man i did IT first time rly good . Have nice day ! 👌
My compass has never worked. Even after doing this several times
Very high chance you work around high magnetic field area for too long, and the sensor fried. My older one fried just because I work in a welding shop for 1 month
Plz do a video on how to change the thermometer.
Thank you for posting this. Watching how it's done is always easier than trying to read a micro sized booklet. Again Thank you.
Very clear process. Thank you.
This is very useful I was trying to calibrate myself but I didn't do how thank you very much
Thank you so much you helped so many people on RUclips doing adjustments on the watch thank you again
Finally! Someone, who actually knows how to do this! You wouldn't believe how many YT videos I've scanned just looking for this. Thank you, so much! 👍
Hmmm. I get to the calibration screen where it says "2 TURN" but when I turn the watch nothing happens. I wonder if my compass is broken.
thanks it works!
Thanks for the video! Very helpful!
Must be in the southern hemisphere, because in the USA you need to move it clockwise.
thanks,. it works on my 'submarine' watch
Thank you man. Very much appreciate it.
Glad it helped
Hello! How can I change from degrees F to degrees C?
Excellent. Thank you very much. This digital push this button then that button procedure of setting up the compass illogical not composed of some rational structure never makes sense to me I find it difficult to navigate or more to the point impossible to figure out. This watch would be in a desk draw or more likely in the trash after I adjusted it with my sludge hammer not on my wrist without your help setting it up. Thank you for making it easy.
Very useful video.Watcing this video first time i have calibrated my watch compass. Thank you so much.
I don't understand why east and west are backwards on the display, (I'm referring to the outer triangle shaped pointer that points to the fixed compass marks, (degrees), on the bezel), the watch is properly calibrated when I turn to the east the watch displays E at 90 degrees but the pointer on the display points to the west, when I turn to the west the outer pointer points to the east while the display shows west at 270 degrees, north and south the pointer is correct, its as though east and west are backwards.
And what about the temperature sensor? How do you calibrate it?
I don't know how to do it or if it's possible to do it.
I just got this watch and no matter how many times I do this it's never accurate! Doesn't stay steady in one place like yours when you are testing it with the pencil.
Eres un chingón 👍
Thank You! Very useful!
I'm thinking in one of two Casio models as Christmas gift - CASIO PRO TREK SGW100B 3V and MDV106-1A... I was almost 100% sure about MDV106-1A, but after some videos for CASIO PRO TREK SGW100B 3V and this one... not so sure ;)
It's a different watch. So, I think it depends on the person that will wear the watch. If he (or she) is the "outdoor" type, then SGW-100 is better choice. If his / her job / activity mostly indoor (at office, etc) then MDV106-1A might be better. I'm talking about the person "taste", pay attention to what she / he usually wearing.
For long term, I think MDV106-1A is better choice, one of the reason is, SGW-100 strap is not common type, so if the strap is broken, you need to order it online or through Casio stores. While MDV106 using more common strap.
Tq for the great video,If i not perform declination ,what be happen?
Thanks for the information

what is the inclination angle for toronto canada ?
I'm sorry I don't know. Anyone can help?
It it safe to push the button if the watches is under water?
It is not recommended to push button under water.
What about the LIGHT button? Cause i need to press it to see what time is under water.
Well, it is not recommended to push all button (include light). I think I read about this matter in manual book. However, many people sometimes still push it under the water and the watch still working without a problem. Don't press it too often I guess. My consideration is because the button movement might cause water enter the watch case, especially for an old watch (there is a chance that the seal is not in perfect condition).
CASIO 100M or 200M means that you can push buttons under water! 50M NOT. Tested!!!
Thanks BRO!!!
