Through This Video, we tried to Explain the Real Difference Between Carpet Area, Built-Up Area, and Super Built-Up Area in a Very simple Manner.
Definitions of All three terminologies as Per RERA.
1. Carpet Area: - Carpet area is the area that can be used to spread a carpet inside the house. It is the net usable area of the apartment. It includes the thickness of the internal wall but excludes the balcony or terrace. Technically, the distance between the inner walls is the carpet area.
2. Built-Up Area : - It Includes Carpet Area + Shafts + Terrace & Balconies + External Walls
3. Super Built-Up Area: - Super built-up area or saleable area is the total built-up area of your flat plus your proportionate share of the common amenities in your building complex.It is also called the saleable area. ... A percentage of the double-height areas and terraces, if any. Entrance Lobby. Corridors.
