Imagine if hazard played for only one top manager at Chelsea, a manager that plays attacking style. For instance like Salah under Klopp. The fact that hazard played under like 6 different managers at Chelsea and had to adjust to so many different tactics probably hindered a bit of his potential. He’s one of the most talented players I’ve ever seen and I thought his ceiling was much higher
I would also add to this with one point that I always think about. For the most part, the players he played with weren’t on his level technically or wave length bar Willian. Only 2/8 seasons with a proper goalscorer didn’t help either. Costa took so much of that goal scoring pressure off of him and allowed him to be free

@@agebeabelaluma5401 no they honestly weren’t. I think Ancelotti probably would’ve been the best Manager for him. Letting him be free. Pep is good for attackers but Hazard isn’t a system player so I don’t think that would work. i think Sarri was probably the best fit, hence Hazards best season
No excessive turn overs, none of that nonsense showboating, just dribbled pass everyone using just the right required skills, thats why I like him

His career is a prime example for the trajectory of these naturally gifted forwards who don't take care of their fitness in their 20s and burn out by the time they reach 30. Considering how similar he is to Messi, he could have continued to thrive even as an attacking mid if he had just taken care of his fitness. The talent will always be there but the body just can't support him anymore without efforts from his end. Shame it had to end like this. Thankful that atleast he had a good 6-7 years at the top.
"not taking care of his fitness". That's just wrong, the fact he got tackled so much has more to do with the fact he got injured so much and couldn't recover anymore.

Isn’t only the dribbling, but the way he covers the ball, putting his body betwen the defender and the ball, he always make defenders lose balance and stay behind him, smart guy!
Not everyone can see this, but this is true, 20-30% episodes he use this skill and all time deffenders broken 😅
