DC Theatricks Benefit Event @ Buffalo "Town Ballroom" 6/15/24 Powerhouse Band Opening Set

This Benefit was held at our Buffalo "Town Ballroom" 681 Main St. on June 15, 2024 (3-7pm) The list in order of the musical entertainment: Powerhouse Band / Carol Jean Swist Jazz Combo / The Diva Ensemble / Rock Voices / Chorus / Stonehouse Blues Band, and the 55 Main Band.
DC Theatricks business was located in downtown Buffalo, NY, in the theater district, owned and operated by Dave & Lynn Larson-Dejac, for at least 41 years. But sadly on March 1, 2023 was destroyed completely by fire. And nothing was saved unfortunately. And even on a sad turn in fighting that fire, a fireman Jason Arno who lost his life. And all our hearts and prayers go out to his family.
What was DC Theatricks....it was a massive costume business, which catered for just anyone, and any event to rent. For many Holiday's, Halloween, weddings, masquerade balls, and the like. And they also worked in connections with many plays that came in town. And was ideally located within a minute walk to our famous Shea's Theater. And to top it off, one of our biggest public party events is the World's Largest Disco held every year in downtown Buffalo. And DC Theatricks in an earlier year, constructed the famous World's Largest "Tony Manero" White Disco Suit, which was displayed for years at the WLD!
So this very special benefit was in help for their retirement, and well being. This included many baskets for raffles, with the help of many of our local distinguished businesses, and a silent auction was presented also.
