Over the years, he has gone from not having an interest in singing, to singing, to performing steadily on stage, to songwriting… His growth is stunning. He has lost some, gained some, but his thankful spirit is what warms my heart. Thank you Jin, for being honest with us.
It is common to reach that plateau and wonder what other improvements you can take to further refine yourself - what, how, why, is it worth it? These are questions we ask ourselves. Listening to it, of course we hope he doesn’t feel that way, but I hope we can open our minds and empathise with him. It is necessary that we ask these questions to ourselves to find out more about who we are as a person. Are we satisfied? Are we greedy? Is it alright to settle? What is my ambition? There’s no right answer, just choices we have to make.
I sincerely hope my intentions in making this video have reached you.

Actually, he's not from a rich family. He said it before that his family is quite moderate until his father promoted to a better job/position (iirc but I might be wrong his father's work but yeah, he's a modest boi) :)

@@dayy4115 actually there is quite a numbet of conflicting infor on Jin's fmly wealth. However, if you follow bts festa bombs bts runs you will catch snippets of infor frm members that his fmly is quite wealthy. At d very least frm middle class upper so may not be cheabol.
1. He alredy own a car predebut to be able to fetch and sent JK to school
2. Both JK & JH mentioned predebut, Jin had taken them for meals at hotel
3. During d reading of their fortune for 2018 (ref link below) RM mentioned Jin does not really have to work.

Jin's family moved to seoul since he was still in elementary school, and they live in the most expensive area. Their old house(his family moved again around 2014, I think moved to even more expensive place) already had two bathrooms like namjoon's family house, in Korea that means big house or apartment. Jin said his family situation is close to namjoon, but I think hes been modest. He didnt even live in their dorm till 2012 cuz his family house is close enough to travel daily. And form jimin's description about pre-debut time, Jin always has some expensive looking things. Also he often the one who know things or already had experience when it comes to expensive food and activities.
There's a live he said he thinks the best food is in gangnam(an expensive area where his family lived), and asked which one is jimin's favorite. And poor jimin was like... Bro I don't eat there... I know nothing.
lol I think Jin trys his best to hide he's form different class compares to other members, but it shows in details. But I do think his family has really strict rules about not showing off, so great parenting taught a great young man.

We have a lot to learn from Jin really. He is so patient with himself but also push himself to become someone better and improve at the same time. I don’t know how to put it into words. He’s very hardworking, we may not see that but you can see the results. Look at him, he’s an amazing human being.
jinniethemoon Yes omg, I think he’s such an interesting person because he’s pushed himself SO hard and has had an INCREDIBLE transformation with his singing and dancing ability but he’s also not as hard on himself (nowadays) when things don’t go the way he wanted. He always talks about being kind to yourself and giving yourself a break. That’s so inspiring to hear, because he’s proof that you can work your ass off whilst still being kind and loving to yourself. I feel like people usually view it as one or the other, but you really can do both. When we work hard and things go wrong, we say such ugly things to ourselves. We shouldn’t. Jin has taught me that.

honestly, Jin is my inspiration to keep working hard so that I can really improve. I have huge respect for him not as my idol but like someone I look up to!
Even his own bandmates were not so considered to his feelings. But I admire his strength, his wisdom, being so young at the time I can imagine how hard it was. With time, patience, hard work, determination he shut down everybody's mouth and got blown away by his accomplishments and out of this world talent . Jin still the quiet one he just show results, but doesn't say much about his feelings and how hard it was to get to the point he is right now. I will say with all honesty Jin is the strongest vocalist in the group, his range is unbelievable, he's been praise by very important and prestigious people in the music industry all over the world. I admire him because he had to change his whole personality and be a total different person so people can notice him.
I've been an army for quite long time now 5-6 years and i can tell that fans didn't like him he didn't have so many fans and people said he was awkward but for me as soon as i was introduced to the members i chose him as my bais because i relate so much to him I've been through the same personality struggles. And as he started changing in early 2016 i started changing too and my life now is so much better, because having an awkward and shy personality isn't really helpful in the world we live in people will bully you. But just like rm said yesterday's me is still me, and tomorrow I'm who i am with all my faults and mistakes.

My cousin is also an army and she says that sometimes she doesn't like Jin so much because he is not "humble" and I am like "dude, seriously you are not paying attention"
Jin is my inspiration. I lack confidence in everything and hated myself because I'm not good in anything or not talented. But when I saw Jin (he caught my attention when I first saw the group) I saw that people can really change and be confident. So that's why I'll try to love myself and strive to be confident. It might take some time but I need to be patient and work hard for it because it'll produce good results. Just like Jin's.

Just to hear to remind you that ALL OF BTS MEMBERS HAVE SHOWN IMPROVEMENT SINCE DEBUT! This is not unusual because most companies send their idols to dance schools and modeling classes and as they age in the industry, their talent increases!!!!
Seokjin used to be confident. He used to go shirtless pre debut. After people started calling him fat and pig and awkward, the poor thing LOST his confidence. And to tell you truth, comments like 'OMG Jin has shown so much improvement' are not helping. World class performers are not born that way. They grow.
The only exceptionally good Hip-Hop dancer in BTS at the start was Jhope. And he was not at the level of Rap as Namjoon and Yoongi. They are humans. So think before you type your pseudo-supportive comments about Jin showing improvement. Newsflash: all of BTS did.
What I really like about this video is that it showcases the growth of Seokjin. Look at how badly he was hurt. Look at him hitting his own body, look at the pain in his eyes as 'army' calls him awkward and he turns to a younger brother for help. Look at this persona he puts on so that Army can be happy, no matter what he is going through, he tries to make us happy. And all army can say is 'Jin has shown so much improvement'. Just say JIN YOU ARE A GOOD DANCER BORAHAEEE. I write this to implore you because Seokin is still not confident. Only until recently he has become confident dancing to Baepsae, only recently has he become comfortable with his shirt being raised with dancing, before he used to dodge the hip thrusts and hold his shirt down while dancing.
Please army, I beg. Seokjin is not my bias but hes the reason I found out about BTS. He deserves love, we all agree. But be thoughtful how you Express it. His confidence is increasing and i firmly believe that the love and support of army can erase years of insults that he had to suffer early on. Just think before you type, please 😔
