IT WORKED!!! 🤩😛😇 One month! That's how long I've been trying to open my NutriBullet. I'd try, and then put it back in the fridge. I've been under so much stress. I guess that's why I hadn't thought about looking here on RUclips before now. Your instructions worked!!! Oh, Hallelujah! I had to do it three times AND then I took a butter knife and GENTLY inserted it in the gap between the cup and the lid in places all around. I could hear (and smell!) that fermented air softly escaping. After that, I tried to open it. It worked!!! After a thorough cleaning, which included a SERIOUS apple cider vinegar bath, I have made my first smoothie in 2022. Thanks to you, I didn't have to replace these machine parts - which was NOT in my budget!!! God Bless You, God Bless You, and your precious family!!! 🖐🏾👋🏾👌🏿

I usually never comment on videos but this really helped. I tried the hot water then cold water method twice. Didn’t work. Third time, left it the hot water for 2 mins and it worked so easily! I was so close to completely throwing away my nutribullet! You saved me

It worked!! I did it a bit differently - I submerged the lid in hot water for about 30 seconds (as you instructed) than held it under the cold running water. Dried it, gripped tightly and turned and it came loose. I almost threw it out, but thought I'd check RUclips first. Thank you!! Problems aren't unique to one person at all. 😁

Thank you for the video. I'll advise all to be careful especially if the content has already begun fermenting, it can become explosive. That's what happened when I tried(i lost my cup but saved the lid). It could be safer to try in an open space than indoor. or perhaps cover with anything that can prevent it from scattering all around. Hope this helps.
This has happened to me and don't know what to do! The contents has been fermenting for about 4 days over holidays forgot to wash it up as it was in my work food bag. Now scared to try and open it 😳
I have the ninja that is a similar size and shape he’s holding in the video. Today is the 1st day it was stuck, I was scared it was going to burst with the pressure and the blade was going to fly. I used hot water slightly boiling and then dropped it in water with ice. The lid came off so smoothly. I wouldn’t leave it in the hot water too long I would say 50 seconds is all it needs. Thank you!

Thanks for this. I put the nutribullet cup in the freezer for 5 minutes first, while the pot of water heated up. Then put the blade cap in the pot once off the heat for a 30 seconds and then used a dish towel to twist the blade cap off.
Thank you for this! I've been trying for 30 minutes to open this blender cup. None of the other suggestions I found worked. I had to put the cup in both boiling water and ice water for a full minute and then was able to open it.
You don't need the second step actually. Just put it in the hot water for about 30s is enough. The lid and the blender cup will expand differently which eventually loosening them apart.
i don't understand why this wuold work. my juice blender lid only get stuck when im blending hot liquid in it, so wouldn't this make it even more stuck?

COLD THINGS CONSTRICT, HOT THINGS EXPAND. SO WOULDN'T IT WORK BETTER IF YOU DID THE EXPANSION STEP LAST, TO GIVE MORE ROOM FOR THE CAP TO BUDGE?
Tried it 3 times but it’s still not working 😔 I don’t know what to do now. I think maybe I’ll keep it in the fridge overnight and hope it contracts. Edit: in case anyone else faces my situation, I got too impatient keeping it in the fridge overnight so I decided to boil it instead. Literally. I put a pot of water on the stove and dipped in the lid side as it boiled for about 20s (oven mits needed). It opened immediately but with a little explosion of some of the contents. Nothing serious, just a few drops but the pressure will probably worsen if boiled for longer). Anyway, my blender cup is opened now. Yaaay
