Same, they do this in every video, it's just so freaking scary, the pictures that pop out the blue simultaneously are scarier than the ghost. I literally everytime get a mini heart attack, EVERY SINGLE TIME. But i still love it, that's what makes the video interesting and spooky and the haunting vibe is just amazing, because without the pictures the videos would be so boring.

Kind of like a double blind experiment in science, particularly psychology.
Both of them going in blind would be too dangerous. One of them, though, would be best. That way the other can look out for danger. Can you imagine if they went to Goatmans bridge blind and walked between those trees not knowing what it was? There's a fine line they have to balance.
I feel like the reason why Sam is so affected by spirits is bc he opened himself up to connections more than Colby and the others have. Like if you remember some of Sam's older videos he did a lot of 3am challenges, he literally played that one shadow man game, he got blood on the Ouija board, etc. Colby on the other hand always makes it a point to try and be friends with spirits but still make it known to keep their distance which is why I think they're intimidated by him.

I agree! to be honest I feel like they see Sam as vulnerable/too open because he's not so strict with the spirits and doesn't necessarily remind them that they shouldn't follow him. Then like you said Colby as intimidating, in one of their recent videos someone told him that the spirits are intimidated by him and thats why he doesn't always see them or get experiences

Something that you missed about sam after you guys heard the surgeon walk into the room. Sam started shivering which can happen either when your cold or your blood pressure is through the roof which can happen when a ghost is trying to latch onto you, if you also notice as sam was standing IN A CORNER, the spirit box said "Got him" and sam most likely has attachments of ghosts and this also proves that the surgeon was trying to latch on to sam. Hope this logic helps you guys on your journeys!

My daughter and I are mediums, and stopped at this place along a separate road trip. She is a seer, and took photos of what she saw, so I could see them too. This place is filled with dark shit and secrets.
To Sam: You are a conduit and a medium for these dark ones. It's not because you're dark - quite the opposite. They feed off your light, and innocence to how much energy you provide them. I think you need to learn how to ground yourself so nothing follows you out of these places. OH - BTW. I'm 50, and "Sallie" was my imaginary friend back in the 70's. Had no idea who she was until I saw the drawings of her, and realized that's the girl that stands outside my bedroom door to this day.

When I was younger I use to have a ghost friend, we moved to houses that were haunted. One of the houses we lived in my dad got pushed down the stairs. I don’t know what it was but it did. I will always believe in ghosts no matter what people say.

Yea, Sam ALLOW them to 'free uber' him (but why tho?). Colby seems don't want to do anything with spirit who want 'free rent' to his body. Maybe Sam thinking that whatever attach him could use as 'bodyguard' or 'shield' to other spirit/demon? That pretty bold move and confident (edit: It's not compliment, I think it's not wise because 'it' can devour Sam. However, exorcist ritual can go nightmare if you do it wrong, not everyone can be 'Naruto' who can tame 'Kurama' inside his body, but that's the theory, they don't even know who is Sally)

That's true. Some of those pictures/clips also give me a REALLY eerie vibe. Around twenty minutes into the video they flashed one of those pictures and it upset me so much that I had to leave my room for a few minutes, talk to my parents and cuddle with two of my stuffed animals.

When they all asked for the being’s name, I’m not sure they’ll ever receive a true response. Many believe that demons can’t give their actual names because if they did, the one that holds knowledge of their name has full control over them. Not sure if Sam and Colby will ever see this comment, but I think this info might be helpful if looked into

In the Warhammer 40k universe there is a group of warriors called The Gray Knights. They specifically train to fight and kill demons. Their training is so hard that it's not uncommon for applicants to die during training. When they are finally done and graduate, they have their minds completely wiped so as not have a single thought that a demon could use against them like for possession of whatever. And as a final addition to that, they are given a name that has been carefully selected and specially crafted so that just the mere uttering of their name can hurt and cause great pain to a demon
Demons could give out they names if they want, it’s just… If they don't want you to remember that name, then in just a couple of seconds you'll forget it. They tend to give their real names to those they trust. And that’s… something really hard to get.

i personally don’t think this “attachment” started at sallie. sallie was just the only one who was strong enough to take you. y’all heard “church”, y’all went to a haunted church, explained how the doctors would pull teeth from the biters, you found teeth on the gaves at the church. also when sam goes into rooms alone, he comes out colder than before and clenching his jaw. sallie is draining you sam. sallie was the one that really kicked off ur attachment but it didn’t start with her. in Del Coronado, y’all were told you can open doors that you can’t close and in wilson castle, Villisca, and now here you have used some sort of portal. the closets are those portals. when you sat on the pentagram colby said to whatever sallie is to “show the world you can cause some damage if you really wanted to” that’s what sallie is doing
I don’t think sally exists, I think it’s a demon disguised as a little girl to make people more comfortable conjuring it. I believe kids and innocents will not be ghosts / paranormal in their after life. I think all they’ve encountered is negative energy. Which is draining and them feeding it mentioning it at every location is exactly what it wants. Take zak Bagans assistant for example, he went on tons of ghost hunts and saw a goat man in an elevator and stopped, his whole life changed. He turned into a satanist/metal head and glorified negative things. I just hope they’re strong enough and taking precautions when dealing with these things.

4:00 (Possibly dust) You can see an orb manifests in-between Nate and Colby. It moves left diagonally, then disappears.
6:17 (Very faint) Right as Sam says "skip", something blurry moves from Nate's nose to the left of his face. Comment if you think it's anything.
21:32 An orb flies from behind Nate's head. Moves to the left, then darts quickly to the floor.
22:13 Another orb flies from Adam's head, moving upwards diagonally.
25:29 An orb manifests out of mid-air then moves upwards diagonally.
28:39 There was a very faint two bangs coming from the direction of the hallway.
30:30 There is an orb that moves from the chandelier and almost floats over Nate's head.

In previous episodes they've pointed out how the spirits are fearful of Colby, so I've noticed how if one of the other team members request and action out of the spirits there will be a hesitation, but when Colby does they most of the time snap right to the action requested.

Let’s be honest, these guys are legends! They go to these haunted and scary places and have fun along the way. Sam and Colby are so amazing and funny, they are also really brave for coming to these haunted places. May their future videos be amazing and wonderful but scary at the same time! At 58:30, when Sam said “are you sure it’s evil” it sounds like he’s defending it, well not him, but whatever is attached to him trying to speak through Sam and defend itself
