@@ZoaTankBoyz it was. I agree with your newest video, they were selling stuff at retail. But I did pick up a small torch for 25$ and a New York nicks torch 100$ so I was happy with those. But for my first time we had a blast. But I will say some of the vendors did sell a bunch the first day, but most of the was at retail.
Have u ever consider hooking up a algae scrubber. Santa Monica filtration makes really good ones. I have one in my 60 gallon and never see hair algae in my tank. First I fought it by treating my tank with Flux RX.
Thanks! Not gonna lie it took a bit there was a point he was so big I was shocked it hadn’t split- I feed it daily also no flow and then when it’s huge change the flow drastically and that usually does the trick for me
I dig your reef tank looks awesome , your experience with GHA bring back memory,so I want to share my experience with how I got rid of my GHA out of my 240 gal reeftank,I bought a algae scrubber & totally out competed the GHA out of my main display, what a relief that was,now it just harvesting the algae out of the scrubber every 2/3 weeks at a time problem solve if that helps any,I highly recommend for you to try it ,good luck ZOA TANK BOYS
A Sea Hare eats green hair algae like crazy, but they are a bit hard to keep alive. A Tuxedo Urchin or 2 however would help you manage hair algae. The only bad thing about the Tuxedo Urchin though is they also eat coralline algae.
Right on..Corals are looking fire man!🔥 Ya when doing the same..One of my clowns does the same..will bite so random that it just makes me jump sometimes..and once caused me to break an Acro. I’ve given up manually dealing with GHA…Reef Flux has been my go-to for last couple years now whenever I need to knock it back down..and away. Cheers 🍻
@@ZoaTankBoyz is incredible. I was able to even talk to @pepeneaker I saw you too but I was embarrassed to ask for a photo, it will be the next one, regards
If you 5-6 small tuxedo urchins in there, they won’t know over corals and they will get between everything and will eat all that hair algae. Orange spotted blenny and starry blenny and you’ll be good.
Nice tank bro! Just got the same tank up and running, be on the look out for my video dropping today of my mixed reef upgrade here on Solomon’s Island!!
Bristletooth tangs do a good job on algae but mine is a dick to smaller fish in the tank. Pencil urchins do an excellent job also, but they move so slow. Loving those torches! Keep up the good works.
Awesome tank. I would stop feeding the tangs for a bit and put them to work.
I agree they are spoiled!
Love the videos. What tank is that? I like it and have a RedSea 170 failing, need to replace
Innovative marine 150 Lagoon
So dude, call Ecotech, maybe you can purchase just the bad part for less than replacement cost.
I called about a Nyos skimmer pump failed, they gave me Code, told me call BRS who sold me just the pump motor, without the magnet stator thingy
3 months, wow
Will be at rap Orlando tomorrow and Sunday hope to see you there!!
Hope it was a blast!

Put a filter sock in your sump and create a siphon with a large hose. Pinch and suck out that hair algae into the filter sock.
Yo that Patagonia is sick. Tank looks good too bro! Have fun at RAP!
I Love Patagonia! Thank you!
What about an elegance for the tank? Instead or more torches
I’d love one! Orange or pink tip!
My Yellow Tang is a little bit of a asshole towards my Diamond Goby, and Cleaner Shrimp. I think it's just a Tang thing!😂
Tangs are sassy!
Love the update !!
Thank you!
Can't wait to see what you get at the show 👌🏻
Let’s go!!!!!!!!
Fire video bro. How did you get your nem to split so fast and big brother?❤
Thanks! Not gonna lie it took a bit there was a point he was so big I was shocked it hadn’t split- I feed it daily also no flow and then when it’s huge change the flow drastically and that usually does the trick for me
I would suggest when you defrost the mysis shrimp do not add the water that it’s sitting in. That is what raises po4.
Did you lose your og and biohazard bounce?

Everyone is saying tuxedo urchins! On my list!
I use peroxide 1ml per 10 gallons, I do it when the lights are off
Good tip!
Should have gotten a sicce sdc, 5 years warranty.
Agreed!
Maybe get a tuxedo urchin for the algea? they are amazing with cleaning those rocks
Will def check it out
Tons are saying the same thing!
Grácias Amigos lindo News Tank Brutal Color 👍♥️👍 Abraço de França 🇫🇷 😘
🙏thank you!
I just started using reef safe vibrant
🔥
So by the looks of things your return pump should be fine if you just get a new power supply if they don’t want to fix it
On its way!
Dump a shit load of hermit crabs in there and grab some odd from algae barn with phyto. It’ll knock out the hair algae in a day!
Good tip!

Sorry to hear about the pump. On a side note, what intensity do you run your lights at?
45% however considering going higher!
Es muy bueno sepillar las rocas para quitar toda esa alga así yo le hice para ke no te salga tanta alga baja el tono verde de las led saludos
Gracias!!!
I would get a sea hare and then rehome it when it’s done.
