Most are... Back then and now. The black Panthers have always been about self sufficiency and creating opportunities by the blacks for the blacks to raise an oppressed people to a state where the stereotypes that the media portrays is non existing and we're better off.
Amazing! As a white dude watching this interview blew my mind. Two strong, intelligent and most of all, honest men discussing the problems and obstacles facing their people without pointing their fingers at white people. Not something I'm used to seeing in today's age where everyone's a victim. Makes me wish more people could be like this.

Why are you surprised? They believe in some of the same philosophies. Ex.. conservatism, nationalism, masculinity, self sufficient, family, etc.
Trump will win 2020 by a landslide. In fact, most Blackmen(not Black males) will vote for Trump.
Not really that surprising, Black Panthers promote black interests and Trump has been a net positive for blacks. Record low black unemployment rates, prison reform, they've made out great through Trump. Too bad 90% of blacks still overwhelmingly vote left. And too bad Trump has abandoned the people who are the reason he was elected in the first place, White Americans.

He could have done anything. He could have done such good for America. Everyone voted for him and supported him. He literally had the Congress, CIA, FBI, all agencies at his disposal and didn't change anything.
He waged war, sold uranium to Russia, introduced communism to the young, and made himself rich.
Actually, Obama set records for the number of end-run executive orders he signed and implemented. MOST of Trump's executive orders rescinded Obama's, which is the double-edged sword of taking executive powers to the limit (and beyond) as Obama did. MOST of what Obama did that I notice was what he didn't do. When people were rising up violently against free speech on campuses, Obama did NOTHING, and even encouraged that nonsense with a wink and a nod. This week, Trump finally moved to end all that anti-free-speech hatred with an executive order cutting off funds to colleges that didn't act to defend free speech on campus.
The irony, of course, is it's the same leftists who protested in Berkeley back in the '60s FOR free speech, who lately have sought to use VIOLENT protests to OPPOSE free speech, whenever somebody wishes to utter a conservative thought aloud.

He gets it, many miss the point concerning the broader perspective of a country in terms of trajectory as it relates to global and self-sustaining issues. Trump may rub people the wrong way in terms of his character traits while at the same time he is able to see some of the larger issues and the need for the US to maintain it's independence as a free society.

Here is the clear cut situation - The Left is trying to create a society that completely lacks masculinity, and unity. Their policy, within inner cities, by design, ends up incarcerating alpha type black men. Through manufacturing poverty in targeted areas. Those who don't wind up in prison, are barraged with daily contempt for being masculine. They are trying to manufacture a society that is unwilling, and unable to stand up for itself. On top of that, they want those remaining outside of prison, who are impervious to the barrage of contempt, divided. So, they throw racial tension into the mix. Lock up the biggest threats, and break the others into smaller, conflicting groups. Eliminate poverty and racial division, while promoting real education and self respect, and you will end up with a society that cannot be controlled. It's a game of chess, and they are winning.
@GThere doesn't need to be a universal income. Jobs in one sector may be lost, but others will arise. Giving a universal income just makes people lazy and complacent. Have we invented a machine that spits food out of thin air yet(synthesizer)? Nope. There is still a lot of human expansion waiting for us. If we give free stuff to people, the human race will stall out. It is only through adversity and failure that allows us to expand and grow. If we keep advancing, eventually everyone will be well educated and intelligent. If we take handouts we become dumbed down so we're easier to control. Is that what we want for our future?

@Farley Moab Untrue. As a black man with several brothers and two young children of my own, I've never heard or stated such a thing. Truthfully most black people are the same as any one else, not caring about race or politics; just wanting to live and let live. I'm also a proud veteran of the USMC, and served with many brothers of many races. I'll be honest in basic there might have been some squabbles but it ironed itself out. As I said above we were brothers, we just didn't know it yet.

Amazin guest Brother Jesse! Usually, when I hear people agree with you, I tend to get a little bored with the conversation. In this case, I was very interested in his perspectives and opinions. Very grounded and respectful alpha male.
I enjoyed this. I served in combat in Vietnam (1967-69) and there were Black Panthers on board ship that wore the BP emblems on their jackets. We were all there together, white, black and brown. We shared the same heads (restrooms), galleys (mess hall) and sleeping compartments. You are right Jesse, he is in the wrong party, and not the Democrat party. The Democrats have tried to pit the blacks against the whites now for the last 50 years, the Obama era being the worst. Anyway, when God came down to earth as a man to save us from our sins, he chose to become a Jew in the middle east, as they were the ones recording an accurate history of the One True God, and were a perfect example of God's love toward a people who were always turning away from Him. . Not white, not black. He could just as easily dropped in on China or the Congo, if His end goal would have been reached. I'd love to be on your show. Anyway, this gentleman could easily claim to be white, just like whites wanting to claim to be an American Indian because they have a 1/6 of indian blood in their heritage. Are there any true 100% blacks left in america, that are not recent legal immigrants?

I'm about as white as you get with English and Scottish heritage and found this extremely engaging seeing two different generations having a very mature honest and open discussion, they both definitely have chemistry and respect between each other,
It wasn't really engaging at all the blank panther guy was genuinely trying to engage with Jesse. He didn't take offence to anything and was extremely patient. But Jesse would constantly look for gotcha moments rather than listen and give his POV (felt like a liberal interviewer). I think Jesse is actually slow mentally, it would have been better if the black panther guy went to another conservative podcast thats more serious to have a genuine discussion.
I found myself disagreeing with many points of understanding from this man. But I found myself in a place of respect for this man and his views.
He was thoughtful. He believes what he believes. Respect. This guy is not shallow. He has thought things through and has love for his cause.

This is one of the best interviews that Jesse has ever done. The gentleman that is with him has the mindset that we all should have to get along and work together to make this a better country him for his courage and his wisdom.

He was able to mellow Jessie out in his approach and changed the tone of the conversation right from the beginning! It was a great interview!

This man is 100% genuine. He speaks his beliefs and thinks for himself. He has no hate and from what i get from him he is a black panther to try and take the hate out of it. In the 60's when I was 3 years old.. yes a white woman.. My dad who grew up down the port in Elizabeth NJ.. Was good freinds with someone high up in the black panther party back then... were friends through work.. He came over for dinner.. after that sat on his lap..
