Fishers released at Lake Ozette, Olympic National Park on 11/5/2021

Building on successful reintroductions to the Olympic Peninsula from 2008 through 2010, the National Park Service, WDFW, Conservation Northwest and other partners will be releasing 20 additional fishers from Canada to boost the local population.

Why is there not more talk and education about Fishers. I am a proud ferret dad. Muskets are amazingly intelligent. I do understand economics are a needed evil. How can we promote education cf controvation. And still mantain modern human consumption and protect natural/native flora and finna?
