You three, Cody, Erika, and Clancy did an outstanding job putting the foundation, tubs, and fillers in place. Erika, you and Cody have a wonderful relationship. You both have a sharp wit with the ability to laugh at yourselves, and to accept laughter and teasing from each other. It is fun to watch. Thank you all so much for the lessons in ranching, farming, and relationship building. They bring much knowledge and such sweet laughter.
I just want to add, Chicken and Cow manure make great fertilizer additions to your garden! We used it in the garden all the time and when the soil was plowed, we would uncover earthworms a foot long and big around as your pinky and we would find grub worms at least 3 inches long and big around as a big thumb! The worms were attracted to the manure! Ya'll keep ranchin', postin' and compostin'!!!
That there garden area is beautiful for sure. I hope you get a plentiful harvest. Sure do enjoy watching your videos. Your family dynamics are an inspiration in this chaotic world we are in currently. Thank you for sharing. Continue to share the brightness of your light.
Red wigglers are your best bet for composting. We don't have a composter in our raised beds but have a tumbler type composter that we added red wigglers to. Works great! I also cut up my scraps and sometimes even run them thru a food processor, just to help the breakdown process.
Erica luv the fact your doing the garden even if planting is a little late it’s never too late to have a garden hope u the best with the garden and can’t wait for the updates on it
Looks great, yall. The only thing i would have suggested to do is seperate your plants. Cantelooe, cucumbers and squash had more than one plant per pot. Your squash plants are going to be overcrowded.
Plus make mounds for squash about 3 to a mound . That sky is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful flowers . water good morning or evening.newspaper on worms keep em nice and moist onlyB&W no colored like ads and such.also helpful to put planting date on markers 🤠👍🌶️🌶️🌶️🐓🐔🐓🦩🦩
nice job! Clancy seems like a really nice young man, you have done good in raising him. you will need a trellis for your cucumber too! they will go wild
Flexzila garden hose, air hose, extention cords are the absolute best! They fade badly in the sun. But living in a colder climate, they never get stiff and always wind up well. Keep the videos coming.
Y’all did a great job on the garden. 👍 I love the look of the raised beds. Your miniature butterfly bush should come back since it’s probably a perennial. 🦋 I’m thinking that your banana peppers will probably become hot because you planted them with the jalapeño peppers, but wait and see. Ask Cody to also trellis the cucumbers. Good luck! 🙂
You are to be admired for all your hard work and the enthusiasm and love you have put into getting your garden started. Stay encouraged! Great job everyone 👏🏻 you have planted a beautiful garden 🪴 💚
Fyi when you see multiple seedings in the pot you bought. You can gently break them apart and get more plants to plant. You can buy one plant and break it up in to more. Also can save money on how many you purchase. Many times they throw in like 4 seeds and sometimes all 4 will sprout. Hope the helps.
After 30 years of conventional gardening, started the raised beds about 3 years ago, almost no weeding, and quads the harvest. I will never go back to planting the regular way.
Yes we have several of those hoses one is 2 years old never a problem love them no kink ever!! Your Garden looks great love the planters need to order a couple!
Great job on the veggie garden! Put up a trellis for the cucumbers, cantaloupe and squash. There vines as well. I've grown mine in a raised beds The marigolds you can plant throughout not with the cucumbers though. Add some bonemeal to everything. Feeds and fertilize the plants. As the mulch biodegrades youll need to add more. Trick is 2"-3" of biodegradable local mulch. It leaches into the soil for the plants and will keep the soil cool. Important
Butterfly bushes are great. Plant any flowers that the bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, etc. can land in one place and go to many blooms at one landing. Does it make sense? So lantanas, coneflower, Lavenders, rosemary, asters, etc. Yes, worms will like and eat scraps. Can wet the inside. Dont soak. Doing great! Always wter the veggies and plants at the base. I water and let them pour water around each and then go back through again. Water early am and latepm Yes its hot right now, so you may need to water an additional time until they establish. Bug if you have questions
Looks great! I found y'all when I saw Walker Farm Fam say they were going to see Bar 7 ranch in Gatesville Texas! Lol I live over in Goldthwaite! I'm so glad I found your channel!
I live near Waco and tomatoes won’t make this late here. Once high temp gets above 90,fruit won’t set. I planted in late April and only had one tomato on my vines and hail storm knocked it off. However, you can let the vines grow and they will produce in the fall once temps cool peppers and squash should produce; just give them lots of water.
I don't think I have had ever need to use my wheelbarrow and the tire was not flat. That might be a goal in my life to find my wheelbarrow with air in the tire when I need it 😂
What no beans, peas, carrots radish eggplants horseradish . Just a few options. Depending on your climate. Lookin good Bar 7. Love the Chicken Church yall are already blessed. Its a family affair🇺🇸🐥🐤🐣🐓🐔🍉🍆🌶️🥒🥕your green peppers mite get hot planted next to jalapeño & whatever you plant next to them 🌶️🌶️🥒🥒🍆🍆🤠👍
I so love the stained glass, can you& cody make a life size church? Plus the kids they are amazing. We are all watching your garden grow Erica awsome job planting🌶️🐓🤠👍
It seems our wheel barrow always has a flat tire also! 😕 Thought that was just a Tennessee thing! 😂 Your raised garden looks like it’s going to be a good one! Enjoy watching your videos. I’m a new comer on the channel.
Marigolds. These flowers are colorful additions to landscaping, but they have a distinctive smell that repels mosquitoes and other garden pests, including squash bugs and tomato worms. Marigolds contain a natural compound used in many insect repellents. Plant some marigolds in the garden among your squash, melons, and tomatoes or near open windows and doorways where mosquitoes might be tempted to enter. Pretty and functional! K
Looks great not trying to be mean but next time spread and loosen roots a little and wet roots when placing in the soil it will help plants root quicker and help. Once again great video love you all.
Plant your sweet peppers on one side of your garden and your jalapenos on the other because these will pollinate them together and you will have hot sweet peppers
Put your marigolds all in two separate locations together not near your plants that you’re going to eat. That way the bugs get attracted to them and the good bugs go to your vegetables lol but it does really work they can you be used on the parameter outside your beds or in your two middle cylinders, that would work perfectly good to me 29:0029:0529:08 You could also put them on the parameter fence that also is far enough away. The cylinders are great, but don’t actually put them in the bed that you’re growing the vegetables you can plant flowers of certain types that you might wanna plant on the edge of your bed. You can plant marigolds tight in the cylinder they’ll do fine, but if you wanted to, I think a couple along the edge of the actual fence of your garden would be great. It keeps the bees there and then they fly over and pollinate your garden, but it doesn’t attract Bedbugs to your garden so the bees stay in the marigolds and other bugs just don’t come near. It’s really a good system and it’s natural bug retarded but not for bees. Maybe you should get a man to put a honey box on your property you can get a share of the honey and he keeps the rest plus she keep your bees in one spot or near your garden so you have everything going on. Having some of your own honey will help you keep allergies and colds away really wonderful commodity on your property. You could do it yourself, but having a Bee Man to come in control it is probably your best choice and you just get a share of the honey for yourself or to sell if you want, I would probably just keep it for my personal use and let the honey Man take the extra and sell it at a market or something it’s a win-win. Also, another thing you could do is grow milk thistle along your fence, line somewhere and it will attract butterflies and you can also get monarch butterfly larva and start procreating them. They’re an endangered butterfly, and they would love it if you gave the milk thistle in a home just saying something to do something fun , maybe next year do it so they get the full season you’ll be helping the bees and helping them monarch butterflies and monarch butterflies love milk, thistle
You can drop zucchini seeds in the ground and they'll popup and with the right sign and the plant food and the compost you're a Cuny rope asked I grow mine and buckets every year
Never have I ever heard anything more correct than always having a flat on a wheelbarrow, doesn’t matter if it’s brand new it’ll still be flat when ya need it.
You'll probably find out that 1 goes just fine because your worms will multiply in the composter and you'll build to have worms to throw in all your other beds
Berryman's tire sealer or a can of condensed milk no more flat wheel barrow or bike tires. Back in the day Berryman's used to be green slime but it looks like they changed the color. Keep on Ranching and killing garden beds before you know it you will have a 200 dollar tomato.

Thank you for your kind words!! ❤️
Weld a old car rim to that T post right next to the hydrant. It would be a good hose wrapper rounder. 😉
I just want to add, Chicken and Cow manure make great fertilizer additions to your garden! My wheelbarrow tire used to be flat every time I needed it. I had a inner tube installed in it and now it never goes flat. I Enjoy your videos.
That's a beautiful garden!
Thanks!!!
I love it! It's very beautiful and creative just like y'all! I pray it provides y'all a great bounty! Fresh is always best! 🙏💚👩🌾🧑🌾
It looks great have Cody make a trillis for the cucumbers and squash like he did for tomatoes and let them grow up it
The garden and your raised beds look wonderful!!!

Nice job friends love from TEXAS ❤
Nice Garden. Thanks for telling your story.
Don’t forget Jack’s watermelon seeds ❤
His has to go in small pots before hand if I remember correctly! Correct me if I’m wrong though please
The garden is lovely
After 30 years of conventional gardening, started the raised beds about 3 years ago, almost no weeding, and quads the harvest. I will never go back to planting the regular way.
Awesome video Cody and Erica 😊
Looks great 😊
Amazing job Cody & Erica!
Looks good
Yes we have several of those hoses one is 2 years old never a problem love them no kink ever!! Your Garden looks great love the planters need to order a couple!
That looks like a fantastic garden. I hope you have a bountiful harvest.
Love the raised beds.
We got solid tires 🛞 for our wheel barrel and our hand truck! Marigolds are to repelled bugs 🐛
Favorite thing to grow is tomatoes and corn
Marigolds should go near your veggie plants - same planter
It looks absolutely awesome
Happy Father's day

Looks so good y’all. You might like some herbs planted amongst your other plants. Basil is always good around tomatoes. Love your beds from Ollie.
Love the flexzilla hose been using them for years on air compressor and high and low pressure water hoses too
Great job on the raised garden bed
I got a new 4 wheel wheel barrow for mucking stalls this year. Soon to have 4 flats. 😂😂😂

Good morning here from Romania I greet you with respect Marius ☀️🇹🇩🕳️🖐️🤠
❤❤❤❤❤ planting day!!!
Cantaloupe loves water I’ve got some planted right now and it might seem like I’m drowning it but it grows really good with a lot of water.
Pretty
I use hoses all the time. I recommend Amazon expandable hose. There light weight and very durable.
Great looking Garden Cody Erika .Clancy . About how big is your Ranch ??.It looks like you have a good amount of land. Thanks .
I live near Waco and tomatoes won’t make this late here. Once high temp gets above 90,fruit won’t set. I planted in late April and only had one tomato on my vines and hail storm knocked it off. Good shoken tonight not rain will be even better for montop of that
Great job! Should be a fruitful crop
We used to hill our cukes and squash
I don't think I have had ever need to use my wheelbarrow and the tire was not flat. That might be a goal in my life to find my wheelbarrow with air in the tire when I need it 😂
Fyi- most coffee shops will give used coffee grounds.

It seems our wheel barrow always has a flat tire also! 😕 Thought that was just a Tennessee thing! 😂 Your raised garden looks like it’s going to be a good one! Enjoy watching your videos. I’m a new comer on the channel.
Welcome to our channel!!
I actually haul Bonnie plants here in Kentucky. If you like cherry tomatoes I highly suggest the sun sugars
The sun sugars were my favorite last year!!!

hello there. i came over from the walker farm family. love your channel.
Thanks for coming!
On my wagon barrel I did for the garden
Looks great not trying to be mean but next time spread and loosen roots a little and wet roots when placing in the soil it will help plants root quicker and help. Once again great video love you all.
Thnaks! I always loosen the roots. I did water them in after because the company was so moist. Thanks for the tips!!
Planting
I love watching y”all RUclips Channel and how is the Chicken Church doing

You need to get some pics of the solar lights on at night to see what it looks like out in the country! Do you have a well on your property for water?
We don’t
You can drop zucchini seeds in the ground and they'll popup and with the right sign and the plant food and the compost you're a Cuny rope asked I grow mine and buckets every year
Lot of hostility in that flower bed😂
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah!🇺🇸👍🏻💪🏼👊🏻🗽.
Planting jalapeños with bell peppers will make them all hot.
Your cucumbers can be on a trellis too
Put green slime in your tire use twice what it calls for
Use a water sprinkler
Me and the wife tried to grow watermelon but I think I put them out in the sun early because they died after a day. They just burned up
No because you will have blossoms on your squash too and that well bring bees in
Never have I ever heard anything more correct than always having a flat on a wheelbarrow, doesn’t matter if it’s brand new it’ll still be flat when ya need it.
Came here vein Eddy family farm
I've also spread some worms in your flower beds and your rest of your other garden beds those plants grow it's well health feature worms
What kind pocket knife Cody has the Turquoise handle one
👍🤠👍
You'll probably find out that 1 goes just fine because your worms will multiply in the composter and you'll build to have worms to throw in all your other beds
Berryman's tire sealer or a can of condensed milk no more flat wheel barrow or bike tires. Back in the day Berryman's used to be green slime but it looks like they changed the color. Keep on Ranching and killing garden beds before you know it you will have a 200 dollar tomato.
What happened to the watermelon seeds from Jack
Those marigolds are good to keep the bugs away but the bettle bugs come and they keep other bugs away thats what marigolds do attract the bettle bugs
You could have planted more plants in
Each raised
Bed.
We
Plant cantaloupe in a raised bed and run it up a trellis
We moved to Hamilton a year ago. Where can I get "garden" soil in this area?
Put one dead fish under each tomato.
Erika and Cody do you have a code for Olle raised bed?
Don’t think you want your jalapeño with the other peppers,it will make all your peppers hot.
Only when you need to use wheelbarrel, will the tire be flat. Have to laugh. I put air in first.
None of our I don't know how many bottles I know I have a little more at least
Your banna will be hot because there next to your hot peppers plant them separate
How old is clients
14
It is probably too late for zucchini.
