Oh wow, the pink lemonade, the birch and the pumpkin are GORGEOUS. Ok ok , the watermelon set is gorgeous too. Pinks, yellows and gray are my favorite 🦋🦋🦋
I could watch your videos for hours. Your colorways are spectacular. Definitely keeping you in mind for this year's Christmas list. I do have a question tho...do you have a video explaining the math involved in making the presoak and mixing dye stocks. I eventually want to start my own yarn dying business but I'm struggling with rapping my head around the math and mixing. TIA
Get a PH tester or strips!! No math needed after that. You want a mix that is around the 5-5.5 mark! Strips are cheap. Ph tester is about $50 on Amazon.
Thanks for the crochet swatch!! Much appreciated 😊
❤️❤️❤️
I appreciate the crochet swatch!
And it's always fascinating how the different weights take the color a little differently.

That is so awesome that we have younger people interested in fibre arts. 🎉

Once the swatch under the light box - AMAZING colors ❤❤
Spencer was so excited! I think this made his whole month! Thanks so much 🥰
❤️❤️❤️ i’m happy he enjoyed it! I know the video he sent back definitely made my month!!
You know what, when you were winding it, it didn't seem to have as much of the lighter colors, just Iooked white. Then in the light box BAM! LOVELY!
It’s crazy how much different lighting affects the video!!
Love the crochet swatch. My 12 year old son doesn't care to crochet, but he loves my hand dyed yarns and he makes stitch markers.
❤️❤️❤️
So beautiful! Soft but vibrant ❤

What brand of dyes do you use just curious i dye wool dreads using jaquard dharma and rit.
What kind of difference does it make in the final product when you dye creating a ridge in the middle vs creating a valley in the middle? I'm curious
Use ridges to keep light dye away from dark dye
And we use valleys to keep dark dye from going into the light dye
@@arcanefibreworks Thank you for answering! I love your videos and your yarn art. Greetings from Argentina

@@arcanefibreworks thanks so much that takes alot of the guess work out
@@arcanefibreworks also when making a 1% dyestock, does acid get added into it or is acid only added during the presoak?
@@hoosierknitter35sounds complicated. Less math. More art. Just play with the colours. Don’t worry about 1% dye stocks and 4% mixes. Just go play!
