This was the greatest gig of my life, it was a by request show so the fans picked the setlist, a lot of these songs either hadn't been played in years or hadn't ever been played live, I have been a Muse fan since 1999 and hearing this song live again I can't tell you how much it meant, thats why the crowd reacted the way they did, only 2 thousand ticket for this one, queued up all day for it, totally worth it
Muscle is the word before muse in a dictionary and museum is the word after it. Should definitely check out show biz live 2006 reading festival. Best show I’ve ever been to still to this day!
I was at this gig. It was a one off gig for charity. It was also a “By Request” gig where they allowed every person who brought a ticket to choose their top 10 songs from their entire back catalogue - and then the set list was made up of the songs with the most votes. One of the best gigs of my life - absolutely amazing!!!!
This was the song that was played a lot on Australian radio when 'Showbiz' came out. Back then I liked it but I was kind of confused. I loved metal, and this was kinda heavy. But it was also kinda indie. And those vocals were a bit Radiohead. I didn't know what to make of it, even though it had a power and intensity that I liked. Eventually I just got over myself, bought the record, and became an instant Muse fan.
This is old school Muse before the mega-stadium venues. Recommend you look at the Muse Astoria 2000 concert. Especially the "Uno" performance. I recall reading a very early interview with Matt Bellamy where he said when he started picking up the guitar he wanted to be a flamenco player. You can hear that in the Uno performance.
Watching/hearing Muse live was something that helped me appreciate dir en grey when I found them a year or two later! The unreal vocals, the prog leanings, the passion and the creativity on stage was something I first discovered with Matt Bellamy from Muse, then later could more deeply appreciate from Kyo with dir en grey :) Muscle Museum is Always going to be a heavy favourite of mine :)
Thanks for that reaction! Have you guys heard anything from the Hullabaloo DVD? It's a concert from 2001 in Paris and it's off the chain! You have to see "Dead Star" from that show!
God I wish I’d been at this show😭😭 it shows just how passionate Muse fans are and how much these 3 beautiful boys appreciate their fans❤️❤️❤️probably one of my favourite performances of Muse, love seeing them in the smaller venues 🔥🔥🔥 great reaction 🙏
Muse love to create songs that involve the crowd the starlight clap I'd a big one and just the sing alongs 'follow me' live Matt usually goes and greets the crowd
Please react to Showbiz in this concert. It's really amazing!! The highest note of this song is G#5!! (In live it's G5 because they lowered half key in live)
You have to react to the master of Indie Brit Bands, The Cure, Just try the song " The Kiss" from live trilogy in Berlin..... It"s just a piece of art !!!
The Muse name is what gave them this song name. They wanted a shorter band name n set on Muse as they liked that it not only was it just one word & but being only four letters, it stood out on multi-band night posters - something I read in an interview they did like a couple decades ago.

Jealous.
Still have Tinnitus to this day, WORTH IT
Me thinks a lot of people went home with strained vocal chords.
to the true musers these songs from the showbiz album are a treasure
The title track from that album is one of their best songs.
I love that it’s normal in muse concerts to sing along to the guitar 😂
💯

Lucky guy!
I tried to get ticket for the by request in France in 2018.... the ticket website kicked me off for no reason .... still mad at them lol
@@TheMiataDriver
Oh no really, I think I was lucky to get the 2 tickets I got. I’m normally the one that has the website crash on them!!
They did say (pre pandemic) they wanted to do more of these.
more of Muse please react to butterflies and hurricanes at Wembley
Showbiz from the same concert give me chill everytime
Muse recorded live on a PHONE still sounds better than 90% of other bands professionally recorded live.
Muse is one best music groups in the world. Matt Bellamy is absolutely talented, pure Geneuis.
That was one of the best falsetto outro’s he’s performed on this song, amazing vocals given his age
What an amazing performance and venue, this cheered my whole day!
the first muse song ive ever heard. hands down a legendary band!

Muscle Museum is THE classics, my first Muse song! Watched it on MTV back then, recorded on VHS to share with friends, crazy times )
This is one of my top Muse songs. It was the first song I heard by them ♡♡♡♡
Fun fact: The word Muse is in between the word Muscle and Museum in the Dictionary.

I saw muse open for Skunk Anansie back in the day, and thought I am going to love them. I was not wrong. ♥️😁♥️
Wow! That sent chills racing up and down my spine....!!! What a great live performance

You should listen to Muse Unintended live... Matt's voice is divine.
Muse, melhor banda do mundo
My favorite Muse song to this day... never ever heard them play this live... cool to know there might be a very slim chance xD
This is the very first (official) Muse song :)
The name is simply the two words before and after Muse in the dictionary !
😮
No it isn’t, Uno was their first “official” song
I've seen Muse live in a huge stadium, it was INSANE. SUCH an experience
fun fact muse named this song by searching "muse" in the dictionary, the word before it was "muscle", and after it was "museum"
Thanks for that reaction! Have you guys heard anything from the Hullabaloo DVD? It's a concert from 2001 in Paris and it's off the chain! You have to see "Dead Star" from that show!
That version of 'Bliss' is still my favourite ever.
Yes more muse please !!! ❤️
Muse love to create songs that involve the crowd the starlight clap I'd a big one and just the sing alongs 'follow me' live Matt usually goes and greets the crowd
The clapping at the beginning of Muse's "Starlight" can be written as "- ·· - ···" in Morse code, which spells out "TITS"
You guys got to react to "Showbiz - Shepherd Bush 2017 (XMAS present audio + multicam)" from the same concert. Man, that performance gives me life!
The best song of Muse
You guys are so full of light and joy, nice to see 🤟🏻🖤
Should have watched Muscke Museum live at Glastonbury 2004. That is arguably they’re greatest performance of any song👌
Have you guys thought about covering a muse song???
That was brilliant.
Haven't seen that gig before.
It was an exclusive event, the fans chose the setlist
best was in hullabaloo or glastonbury 2004 but muse is muse good video. more videos of muse please

Love your muse reactions. A fun one to watch would be survival in Rome
Please react to Showbiz in this concert. It's really amazing!! The highest note of this song is G#5!! (In live it's G5 because they lowered half key in live)
They lowered it because Matt can’t get there anymore
I was at this gig too.
You have to react to the master of Indie Brit Bands, The Cure, Just try the song " The Kiss" from live trilogy in Berlin..... It"s just a piece of art !!!
I miss gigs when people didn't have phones waving in the air.
True, but we wouldn't have footage like this
Please do Citizen Erased! If you look up "Muse Citizen Erased live in 2015" it should be the very top one. It's my favorite performance of the song

This is how Muse became Muse.... Originally they were called Rocket Baby Dolls.....From this track....Muscle MUSEum.....they got the name .......Muse.
The Muse name is what gave them this song name.
They wanted a shorter band name n set on Muse as they liked that it not only was it just one word & but being only four letters, it stood out on multi-band night posters - something I read in an interview they did like a couple decades ago.
