My brother had a fully built 347 stroker in his old fox body mustang. I was like 17 or 18 when i first rode in it and let me just say, it clenched my ass real quick lol. Then a budy of mine had a 333 stroker that was supercharged. Never got to ride or drive it but it sounded mean as hell.
my shelby cobra replica has a stroker 347. at 2600 lbs, it's scary fast. still, there's something about driving my 62 caddy like a grandpa that appeals to me.
Years ago, a really great buddy of mine that was funny as hell was riding with me in my 63-corvette roadster 2002 corvette LS1 engine five speed. We were on a busy two-lane highway and came up behind a truck that wasn't even doing the speed limit. I kept waiting for a chance two pass the truck and when I saw it, I shoved the trans into 3rd gear, and we just made it around the truck coming close to hitting another car head on. After I made the pass my buddy said to me, "Did you hear that?" I said no I didn't hear anything. He replied. "It was the devil he just got out of the car and said he didn't want a damn thing to do with you!" My good buddy Kent died of cancer some years later.
I’m upgrading right now to a 347 stroker from a fully built 302 I’m hoping for a more fun time with the car and we’re transferring some parts to the 347 that I had previously on my 302 so imma be in some good hp ranges
Truth. That was the old engine. I can’t quite remember what it but down. The new 393 stroker put down 480 wheel and 700 wheel on nitrous. I need to get more videos of it up!
