i’m determined to learn this song because this past week i found my grandma went to highschool with Marty. i need to learn this thankyouuuu so much for the tutorial
Marty Robbins formed the wood foundation forms for the stem wall & framed parts of my house in Phoenix. I found some of his time cards inside of a wall, and the original owner of the house confirmed that his father & Marty Robbins had worked on my house back in 1952. The man's father got all of the excess concrete from the development and poured it all around the original house and yard. I have a sidewalk all around the house, one around the yard, a nice big RV pad, a beautiful decorative low red brick wall with a nice thick & wide concrete cap on it all the way around the front porch, and a nice custom 1/2 size block wall with a decorative concret cap all around the back yard. The old patio is now an addition. That old guy made that patio slab well over 24 inches thick, so he could put the addition on it later and save money on the slab. I wish the whole house had a 24-30 inch thick monolithic poured slab. I'd have put a second story on it by now. I sunk 24 inch concrete drill bits all over the addition in an attempt to treat for termites. I never found the bottom of the slab. Even in the bathtub's drain box it's over 24 inches thick. All the permits, inspection tags and time cards were pinned up behind the medicine chest in the bathroom. Same with the addition, just a different bathroom. Late 1952-early 53, and 1957 for the addition.
Pure joy, nothing but pure joy, thankyou for the tutorial, I found this song on the radio in Fallout New Vegas and I could not stop listening to it. Played it 24/7 for a week
This is one of my all time favorite songs. Thanks for helping me learn it on guitar. You should totally get your boys together and play this in some bars.
I have songs 🎵 that I've known for many years 🎶🎸 ,but when I watch your videos I always learn something new...whether it's the intro, picking patterns, strum or different chords to play it in....keep up the good work.
@@LearnGuitarFavorites...I had played "Don't Close Your Eyes" by Keith Whitley since it came out back around '88...I looked to see if you had covered "Miami My Amy" by Keith Whitley...another one that I learned years ago...I'm sure I would learn something new if you did it...
Ive been leaning from this video, i started pracricing 3 days ago and i can play the intro with only a slightly awkward pause at the one chord change! Just imagine how good ill be in 3 more days. Maybe i can start trying that F chord!
Robbie, another great lesson, could you please do a tutorial on sawyer brown's all these years, it is such a great song and I would love to learn how to play it and I can't find any good tutorials on it

Ok maybe im missing something but you said that we need c sharp minor and g sharp but I cannot see you playing g sharp anywhere. What i am missing? Anyway, super fun song, thanks!
I learned 3 new songs from you in a few days! I pick up the guitar so much more now just to play the songs I learned from you! Sub-way? No! Sub-scribed!
I find myself really frustrated because I don't know how to make the strumming upwards so it just sound awful Also I don't know if my strings are damaged or smth but it vibrates more than usually and makes that sound quality is poor Any help I can get with it?

Can You do a lesson on Have You ever seen the rain by Willie Nelson ?
To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day
Hardly spoke to folks around him, didn't have too much to say
No one dared to ask his business, no one dared to make a slip
For the stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip
It was early in the morning when he rode into the town
He came riding from the south side slowly lookin' all around
He's an outlaw loose and running, came the whisper from each lip
And he's here to do some business with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip
In this town there lived an outlaw by the name of Texas Red
Many men had tried to take him and that many men were dead
He was vicious and a killer though a youth of 24
And the notches on his pistol numbered one and 19 more
One and 19 more
Now the stranger started talking, made it plain to folks around
Was an Arizona ranger, wouldn't be too long in town
He came here to take an outlaw back alive or maybe dead
And he said it didn't matter he was after Texas Red
After Texas Red
Wasn't long before the story was relayed to Texas Red
But the outlaw didn't worry men that tried before were dead
20 men had tried to take him, 20 men had made a slip
21 would be the ranger with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip
The morning passed so quickly, it was time for them to meet
It was 20 past 11 when they walked out in the street
Folks were watching from the windows, everybody held their breath
They knew this handsome ranger was about to meet his death
About to meet his death
There was 40 feet between them when they stopped to make their play
And the swiftness of the ranger is still talked about today
Texas Red had not cleared leather 'fore a bullet fairly ripped
And the ranger's aim was deadly with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip
It was over in a moment and the folks had gathered round
There before them lay the body of the outlaw on the ground
Oh, he might have went on living but he made one fatal slip
When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip
Big iron, big iron
When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip

@pg8220 the G Sharp would only be for the intro, in place of the E with capo. Hope that makes sense
@ great! Thanks a lot! :)

Sure🎸
@@LearnGuitarFavorites i have try it but the sound it's not the same
@@eloydofficiel4350 It will sound different on an electric, but it should still sound ok and the notes and chords will be the same.
@@LearnGuitarFavorites yeah thx for this tutorial i discovered this music by fallout xD
Just subscribed you do such a good job with these videos. Is there anyway you can make a video of Cody jinks (without saying a word)
Thanks for the sub and I'm glad you like the videos, I'll check that one out, Thanks!
Could you tell me the strum pattern? It's easier if i have it in text, so i don't have to replay it
The patterns are always written in the description DDDUDU
I see you demo the G sharp without the capo barred, but never do you actually do it during the song
I don't have a capo, what can I do?
Reminds me of ghost riders 😆
My fingers just refuse to move like that
